For anyone who got bamboo floors how long does it take from PCI to handover. Our contract is over in a week so I'm hoping we get handover prior to Christmas break. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8487Nov 14, 2015 7:23 am Our bamboo floors went in last week. We have yet to reach PCI Cl'd/Peg: 20/03/2015 Cut & Slab: 24/4/2015 & 3/05/2015 Frames: 28/05/2015 Roof: 21/06/2015 Bricks: 11/07/2015 Lock Up: 7/08/2015 PCI: 18/11/2015 Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8492Nov 14, 2015 10:07 am Everything is finished now at our place, I'm expecting PCI any week now. The bamboo was installed last week and an underlay cover placed over the top to protect it. Just final touch ups and we could realistically have the keys to be honest. I just want it over and to be moved in by Christmas. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8497Nov 14, 2015 12:42 pm JamisonMac your bathroom looks great. Did you change the main bathroom vanity to have draws? Ours doesn't have any. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8498Nov 14, 2015 1:04 pm Thanks Guys. Yep, we added the draws in and then centred the basin over the doors on the left hand side. We found it better to have more space on one side rather than 2 smaller sides. I love the bath too Joel. It was the only thing I requested at colours, wife did all the rest haha! Is the dark grey bathroom the ensuite ? cassynunn - Awesome news on PCI. I believe the SS atm for our area is the boss of all the SS until they find a replacement for the old one. We finally finalised colours last week. I printed out a copy of the kitchen and coloured in with pencil to try and get an idea of what the colours would look like. We have electrical on the 26th then we are done with house appointments. We are going on 7 weeks since our DA was submitted, starting to think I should of pushed for CDC. Friends of ours who started this building process the exact same time as us who are building with Rawson already have a slab down. I reckon with Xmas we are at least 2 months away from starting. It's depressing knowing we are at least another 11 months away from being in our new home. I should of pushed hubby to go with the Clarendon house that I loved, they said 7 months total.
