Re: Queenslanders building our first house!!!! 823Apr 27, 2012 3:26 pm I've been looking REAL hard, but I still can't tell which leg is amputated. Edit to tell Kiwi that McLaren just called you FAT! Re: Queenslanders building our first house!!!! 824Apr 27, 2012 3:38 pm Totally agree with Dee re bedrooms, as I said before when these kids are adult and bringing people home there is no way they want bedrooms with adjoining walls. As for the master move the linen right and door to left, put the bed against the pantry. You could move things in the bathroom so you could still use doors to the deck. I would move the study into the family a bit so you could try and accommodate a wall like pic at end of foyer to block off kitchen area. I love the colours in this!!! Very noice..... I understand what you are saying... I think we were talking base walls from the entry waaaaaaaayyyyyy back with the Castlereagh!! Wow that seems so long ago.... My kids are 10 and 12..... so thinking about them bringing people home is absurd at the moment but I thank you all for your forethought!!!! I would consider flipping the master bed to have it on the pantry side though......... I wanted it the other way because I assumed I'd get a view..... but the only view I'll get is the deck.....really........ so that idea is obsolete...... Thanks guys for trying to make this plan better and better all the time....... I'll listen to you all eventually x ~ okjorg viewtopic.php?f=31&t=55196&p=844089#p844089 Settlement date - 13 Jan Final plans - 24 Sept Council approval - 21 Oct First peg in the ground - 7 Nov Re: Queenslanders building our first house!!!! 826Apr 27, 2012 4:47 pm COOL, I have absolutely no idea what to draw this evening, and I'm not trawling through all that lot. . . Okjorg, could you please read through it all and give me a list of exactly what to do? There are bad ideas, good ideas, ideas that we've heard before and new ideas. . . But only you know what you do and don't want. Re: Queenslanders building our first house!!!! 827Apr 27, 2012 5:03 pm Okay....... I'll start working on my list!!!!!!!! Thanks Jo...... I'll get RIGHT back to you ~ okjorg viewtopic.php?f=31&t=55196&p=844089#p844089 Settlement date - 13 Jan Final plans - 24 Sept Council approval - 21 Oct First peg in the ground - 7 Nov Re: Queenslanders building our first house!!!! 829Apr 27, 2012 5:08 pm jodge , I have absolutely no idea what to draw this evening, CLASSIC!! seen this while everyone waits? http://video.au.msn.com/watch/video/bea ... nd/xtcss6c Re: Queenslanders building our first house!!!! 831Apr 27, 2012 8:48 pm Hi!!!! I do like the new plan and how you've cut down the footprint of the house...... but I do still love the other one better so I will completely go basic in the bathrooms and spruce those up after I save my pennies (fixtures and extra tiling).......... down the track Here is the list.... Go back to the other plan...... * no double shower...... but make it big enough so I "don't touch the glass with my butt while I clean my feet". * nibs on the entry foyer * get rid of the alcove/shelves/cloak cupboards and just have a wall there.... * change the bedroom 3 door and wardrobe (so the bed can be on the other wall) * toilet in the main bathroom with a shower larger enough..... blah blah blah... (you know the drill) * keep the double vanities for now..... Can we see it with a small portico out the front????? Is this even possible??? Love your work....... Oh is anyone watching the Broncos!!!! GO BRONCOS!!!! ~ okjorg viewtopic.php?f=31&t=55196&p=844089#p844089 Settlement date - 13 Jan Final plans - 24 Sept Council approval - 21 Oct First peg in the ground - 7 Nov Re: Queenslanders building our first house!!!! 833Apr 27, 2012 8:55 pm ouch!!!! ~ okjorg viewtopic.php?f=31&t=55196&p=844089#p844089 Settlement date - 13 Jan Final plans - 24 Sept Council approval - 21 Oct First peg in the ground - 7 Nov Re: Queenslanders building our first house!!!! 835Apr 27, 2012 9:13 pm okjorg - Don't mention the score or I will shoot you, we are watching the Sydney teams fight it out and get the Broncos game next. kiwi - I watched Beau Ryan, hardly raised a smile. We think he's a bit of a wancer because he played all his junior football with Wests Illawarra then left but he probably would never have got a game in first grade because it was the era of Gasnier and Cooper. Regards, Grumbles Re: Queenslanders building our first house!!!! 838Apr 27, 2012 9:39 pm So what do you think of the list jodge???? Can you make any sense of it???? I can't wait to see what you come up with, yes 800mm should be plenty big enough........ onto the Sydney game for us now....... I've been thinking of my gorgeous best friend from high school and have been wanting to do something special for her.......... for those of you who have been keeping track....... My friend got her beautiful care package "Operation Princess Rescue" was a SUCCESS!!!! She received a random knock on the door and had a bunch of beautiful roses handed to her with some natio skincare products and a card....... a cuddle and someone saying "God loves you and you are special and you are loved!!!" That's alright isn't it!!!???? Not too over the top???? bhahahahahhaa and NO....... I am not religious!!!!!!! ~ okjorg viewtopic.php?f=31&t=55196&p=844089#p844089 Settlement date - 13 Jan Final plans - 24 Sept Council approval - 21 Oct First peg in the ground - 7 Nov Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 46635 3 66127 Not recommended!
