We also got our fixing invoice in the mail....only one more invoice to pay which is handover!!!! Oh my goodnees i cannot beleive how well this has moved... The painters are in and have everything to start painting tomorrow - all the prep work has been completed I cannot believe that we are already at this stage... We were given a rough idea of when we would be having handover and Easter is looking like a great time of year.... Lets hope we get a little bit before that time and it will be perfect... I would then be in our new house for my 40th Brithday.... Your house is taking shape, and it looks lovely! I really like your bricks, we are thinking of choosing the same. Good to see that it looks nice as a whole! majikalmushroom - the table is ordered from Urban on Mt Alexander Rd they do all furniture to order and is all Australian stuff. Electricians have also started getting all the poer points in. Lets hope we are lucky and get somewhere in around Easter...if we are really really lucky... We also went down to Costa's last night as it is closing and bought our letter box...got it $100 off.. Out on site tomorrow to confirm the tiles they are laying are the correct ones, apparently this is standard practise. The more that gets completed the closer we are... Cannot wait for CSC to give me an update this week. Is it like a peachy-pink colour? I think a lighter colour may have looked a bit better, but its not my house. And the kitchen and feature niche through wall look really good! The colour is definately stronger that what i imagined but the more i look at it the more i like it. The tiles were started yesterday and should be finished by the end of the week. Met with the electrician and they installed our lights for us today at a little extra cost. SS was fantastic and had no problem with it being done before handover. Now we just need to get everythng packed where we are and organise to move... Does anyone have any suggestions on removalists to use. Here are some of our tiling pictures today...
