Re: our first home group wa home 83Apr 14, 2016 11:52 am PAISHE i was wondering how you clean the vinyl planks! i know what you mean about the grout..!! it will look nice either way if thats what your doing, sounds like a good idea My friend has it and she just makes sure her mop is just damp not wet. They always look clean to me. I'm thinking of getting one of those spinner mop things. Re: our first home group wa home 84Apr 14, 2016 11:54 am jasminelee_86 My husband likes the vinyl planking but we had it in our previous house and it popped a few places from moisture and i was forever mopping up spills from the kids. And you cant use a normal mop on them have to use a non water mop. I am worried about the grout too but was thinking maybe getting grey grout and paying for the gap to be smaller but not sure if that would change anything. I would prefer to just polish the concrete but hubby hates the look so instead we will have tiles that are the same colour as concrete, stupid if you ask me but oh well Perhaps you could have greyish grout instead of white. Or seal all your grout. polished concrete is so practical. Re: our first home group wa home 85Apr 14, 2016 12:07 pm Will definitely be sealing the grout. 4 kids would only take few hrs for it to get discolored lol Re: our first home group wa home 86Apr 14, 2016 1:08 pm Omg best news. Just got an email, earthworks the 19th than slab within 5 days. Summit has told me they will relocate the laundry plumbing after the walls are completed. I'm actually pretty happy… 13 37236 Cant give recommendations in general with that builder, but during the colour selection, this is honestly personal preference. Depends on the style you want.
