Internal doors installed today - this is one of the wardrobes, but it is the same internal door used throughout the house:

That's a good point with roller blinds, you don't want to spoil your view. The ladies at curtain wonderland where really helpful, I think I'm going to do double hung roller blinds to the living areas but wanted to see the brackets and nothing was a issue for them. Quick blinds online have great prices too. I agree with the research I spent hour looking online and it made my choice a lot easier. I got mine from beacon up at home maker centre, ( 3 pendants for over the kitchen bench) the lighting super store is up there too, there is a lighting store on Brisbane rd that's supposed to be quite good and surprisingly enough freedom at the brick works ( I loved the freedom ones but mr tribe canned them) lighting in the box website is really good too. I'm considering a different pendant from there for our front entry. Thanks for all the store tips, Tribe7! We have checked out Beacon etc & the one on Brisbane Rd... We went to a few further North today as well (didn't realise the big one near the Harvey Norman Centre in Logan was gone!!)... Still no luck on our kitchen pendant lights, but we stumbled across Lighting Illusions up Brisbane way & they were awesome! Bought all our downlights off them, so at least we have made a start Great progress again for today, (so jealous Re: First Build – modified Bayside 30 by Stylemaster:locked 84Feb 17, 2015 8:56 am Tribe7Great progress again for today, (so jealous That's awesome Metricon are going to install everything for you - it will be so nice to have it all complete when you move in!! I'm not entirely sure what type of pendant I'm after - I'm waiting for something to jump out at me as 'The One' (which is looking less and less likely, haha), but I'm hoping to find something in a stainless steel/chrome/brushed aluminium finish I think... You see some online and they look awesome, but then you see them in the flesh and the colour is way off, or the quality is no good... I found another online store that looks to have a good range as well, JD Lighting, and they have a store in Browns Plains that I am going to check out! Sorry for the delay, that's the plan with the lighting, nice and easy would be awesome. I know what you mean, once you see the pendant you will know and it's hard to tell with colours and shine in online pics. I think I remember reading on home one about JD Electrical and them being very good. Fingers crossed its a successful shopping trip for you. Your cabinetry handles look great, they have made great progress again for you. Lucky your at full lock up with this weather, it's so wet and soggy. No idea if we are going to get the wind though? Have you been given a hand over date as yet? I have a weird question for you. Are you having a path from your front door to your letter box or the little path from the portico entrance to the driveway? I did a bit of a stalk around a few of the northern coast estates like riverstone, highland and stone creek and most seem to go for the little path from the portico to the driveway. Whats your plan? Im a bit puzzled. Re: First Build – modified Bayside 30 by Stylemaster:render! 98Feb 26, 2015 9:03 am Tribe7Hey JLC, have your tilers started work on the flooring yet? This was just standard, but our mailbox will be next to the edge of the driveway & most visitors will probably park up the drive, so will work fine for us... I'm sure you could change/add extra to have a path to the footpath if you're thinking more from a visitor walking to your front door point of view? We may do something in future that leads direct from the footpath to the front door http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah242/cox_jl/Driveway_zpslwag34jw.jpg First Build – modified Bayside 30 by Stylemaster:paint! 99Feb 26, 2015 9:27 pm Front render complete and internal painting started today! http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah242/cox_jl/IMG_1642_zpssfi47f39.jpg http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah242/cox_jl/IMG_1644_zpszrcbuqfz.jpg http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah242/cox_jl/IMG_1646_zpsmpb2ree5.jpg Re: First Build – modified Bayside 30 by Stylemaster:paint! 100Feb 26, 2015 10:38 pm wow! great progress jlc Live Love Lough Building thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=74918 Building blog: http://uniquebyeva.com.au/ourhome/ Our food forest blog: http://www.foodforestcookery.com Most builders will provide standard Island Bench with overhang.
