Just over 4 weeks away - it's going to seem agonisingly slow (I know it is for us). Front yard looks great levelled and cleared. Re: Plucka's Build- Tiling Teaser 82Jan 24, 2013 11:49 am Yeah I know, you still looking at Feb 18th? It's funny -our handover dates are ending up so close seeing we both started on the same the day almost 6 months ago. It's either going to be the 15th, 18th or 22nd at this rate. Having a few issues with the department of housing regarding access and the fact that their boundary has encroached on our land by 300mm (which doesn't seem much but multiply that by 32m = thats 12m2 that we've lost!). I agree that its is pretty amazing that they are being completed within days of each other, although they are pretty similar houses in regards to size, landfall etc. Hope the next few weeks go much smoother than what we're experiencing at the moment Re: Plucka's Build- Tiling Teaser 85Jan 24, 2013 12:37 pm LOL the builder has already pushed back the date a few days to allow time for the certificate of occupancy to get to the bank which they require before doing final valuation and payment, so looks to be around Feb 26th now. Next few days are electrical and plumbing fixings followed by bamboo flooring next week. Driveway should be done very soon too. Looking at glass splashback samples today. Oh and they've repainted the front columns the correct colour. Will update with some new pics tomorrow. I think our schedule hasn't been impacted too much - but they need to pump out the pool again. Only setback was they had to delay the slabs for the water tank and hot water system, should be done this week so no impact on the schedule Build Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=57639 Re: Plucka's Build- Tiling Done 93Jan 31, 2013 8:09 pm Today we had taps and toilets installed. Bit of a stuff up though on the stair lights- they were supplied the wrong ones (too big) and just before I had arrived this morning he'd already cut out all the holes in the wall for all 5 of them. Now the walls have to be patched/repainted etc before installing the right ones, he wasn't too happy about it. Can't wait to see the bamboo flooring go in which should be end of this week. Like your column lights too (we have those as well). Shame about the stairwell, at least they can fix it, hope it won't delay things We built the Wisdom Majestic 40 - moved in!
