Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Greenvale Gardens, Greenvale VIC - Boutique Homes 81Aug 25, 2013 9:03 pm Yeah well i will contact PD early just to give them a heads up the land has been delayed due to wet weather and its not due to title until December.. Mr cool. Yeah we are building the vienna. Its great value. We chose the 3 bedroom. It created so much more space upstairs and suited us. If ever we want to add the 4th bedroom it wouldnt be to hard.. Thanks sambogirl. Yeah il be sure to check that. Dont want to be hit with any extra fees. Joshcunno im sure you will be fine by feb.. Well fingers crossed Re: Greenvale Gardens, Greenvale VIC - Boutique Homes 83Sep 19, 2013 9:07 pm Hi Guys new to blueberry street. Still in the contract stage. Really enjoyed the posts on here, very informative. This is my first house build and keen to install underfloor heating. Finding most of the large builders turning me down. Any idea? Re: Greenvale Gardens, Greenvale VIC - Boutique Homes 85Oct 10, 2013 2:02 pm Joshcunno Anyone updates on the estate of late? Haven't been past in the few weeks? Is anything happening?? Hi Josh, Still no oval and the front entrance is not completed although they have been doing work on the entrance. I think that is due to be completed in November but no idea on the completion of the oval. Lots of houses are going up including mine Re: Greenvale Gardens, Greenvale VIC - Boutique Homes 86Oct 15, 2013 8:47 pm I ended up driving past last night, oval looks like it will be months away and they still have not even sealed the main road down to our block yet the display homes have come up super quickly too but the entrance park looks the same it did 6 weeks ago....... I really hope they get their act together as they really have developed nothing that they have promised as yet.. Except a pop up park Re: Greenvale Gardens, Greenvale VIC - Boutique Homes 87Oct 16, 2013 6:57 am I agree Josh. They are really lacking in their promises especially as that oval was their big selling point. They are saying they need to come to an agreement with the Council about it so I'm unsure if the oval has even been approved. The pop up park was a waste of time and money in my opinion. Re: Greenvale Gardens, Greenvale VIC - Boutique Homes 88Oct 16, 2013 10:54 am Is there anything in the fine print saying they have to build an oval in that section and of the size they have specified? I'm worried that it will never actually happen... And as you said that was one of the main reasons we chose the estate.. I'm worried that it will never actually happen... And as you said that was one of the main reasons we chose the estate.. I am not sure re: the fine print. I will have to dig out my land contract but the latest updates on the road and oval issues on the Greenvale Garden facebook pages states: Our estate intersection is now scheduled for completion by the end of November. We've been working hard with all concerned to complete this important intersection to a quality we're proud to have our residents driving across for many years to come. Currently we are working with council to resolve a number of issues with regards to the Greenvale Gardens central reserve. This is taking considerably longer than anticipated but we hope to have an update on this in the next month. I would be pretty disappointed if the oval didnt go ahead as would most of the residents id say. Re: Greenvale Gardens, Greenvale VIC - Boutique Homes 90Oct 18, 2013 11:03 am hi, ive just been advised by my builder that we need to cut our grass prior to them cutting it. Is this standard practice? if so, does anyone have any good cheap local contacts? Re: Greenvale Gardens, Greenvale VIC - Boutique Homes 91Oct 18, 2013 11:26 am hocm hi, ive just been advised by my builder that we need to cut our grass prior to them cutting it. Is this standard practice? if so, does anyone have any good cheap local contacts? Hi hocm - i believe your block must be "clear" before any builder will build on it and that means grass, concrete and unfortunately any rubbish dumped by another party. Annoying. Re: Greenvale Gardens, Greenvale VIC - Boutique Homes 92Oct 27, 2013 8:30 pm Finally some action, went past yesterday and our release has now had the road done and footpaths and driveways. Can't drive drown there yet but we walked down and could make out where our block is! Very exciting! Re: Greenvale Gardens, Greenvale VIC - Boutique Homes 93Nov 14, 2013 8:15 pm Spoke with the guy from the estate today who told me about the state of the park!! He said they are starting work on the park at the start of next year but they are only doing things like the play equipment. the Oval will not be done until the council have money apparently and also the council decided that the field will be two soccer fields instead of 1 Footy Oval. Sucks. Re: Greenvale Gardens, Greenvale VIC - Boutique Homes 94Nov 14, 2013 8:18 pm Joshcunno Spoke with the guy from the estate today who told me about the state of the park!! Re: Greenvale Gardens, Greenvale VIC - Boutique Homes 97Dec 20, 2013 12:04 pm I am supprised that the Footy oval was proposed in the first place. There are already 4 in Greenvale. It would be better used for a Garden Park. Also there is a Soccer Oval behind the the Rec Centre in Barrymore road. Cheers Mr Cool Re: Greenvale Gardens, Greenvale VIC - Boutique Homes 98Dec 20, 2013 1:55 pm To be honest I wouldn't care if it was a footy oval or yeah just a big open space to kick a ball / play with the dog etc just don't like the thought of two soccer pitches, Wrekon it will look crap and I bet down the track they will end up lending them out to a soccer club or something which means residents won't be able to use the park/ area on the weekends! Anyway the rate this estate is moving they won't have to park sorted until 2020!!!! Re: Greenvale Gardens, Greenvale VIC - Boutique Homes 99Dec 27, 2013 6:43 pm News keeps getting better with this estate! Our land has now been pushed out to February... Was meant to be October! And now we just drove past and saw that the spot for the future school has a new sign saying it's now a neighborhood park... So looks like the school has gone from the estate!! So the two big draw cards.. The oval and now the school are gone, I wonder what they will take off us next! Not impressed!! Re: Greenvale Gardens, Greenvale VIC - Boutique Homes 100Jan 03, 2014 12:27 pm I dont know if it is actually true about the School being removed. The site has been zoned as a School as part of the PSP. I think it is of just using the old "future School" sign to advertise that the park is going to buit, from what i saw it said "Greenvale Gardens is Growing". Can anyone confirm if there has actualy been a change in the zoneing of the school land? Cheers Mr Cool 10 16409 I have posted this before: We hired Darbecca to do every stage inspection, and I strongly recommend them to anyone that asks me. They were amazing. Thorough reports… 2 5167 |
