I dont think mine was done till after the ceiling was put on.. One thing i recommend you do down the track is when they do your site clear make sure they havnt just put a layer of sand over all your rubbish I have spent the last few weekends trying to rake and level the front yard/verge ready for landscaping but it is taking ages and ive run out of places to put the rubble/rubbish im pulling out. I think so far i have removed about 27 bricks and 12 or so roof tiles aswell as other general junk and concrete and asphalt lien about 50mm below the surface Hope your build runs smoothly and on time INFINITI - COMMODORE HOMES NEWHAVEN ESTATE - PIARA WATERS land settled-13.01.2010 Prestart-08.03.2010 Siteworks-20.04.2010 Slab-12.05.2010 Bricks- 11.06.2010 untill 30.06.2010 Roof- Completed on the 06.08.2010 Lockup- 20.08.2010 PCI - 01.10.2010 Handover Completed - 15.10.2010 Re: shans build...ceilings in!! when does bulkhead go in? 88Jan 14, 2011 11:25 pm Yeah thanks for the advice guys I emailed last night. Photo h 98Jan 30, 2011 10:38 pm so the progress so far is fantastic this week!! we are at lockup!!! 18weeks in but we are finally here!! i have a slight problem. the internal doors have been hung (see pics) but the door i chose is the rivervale (i have put up a pic of the neighbours front door to show the style) they have hung the stanford. it is in my contract (which i have signed) but the standford isnt even offered as an option so i dont know how it has ended up on the contracts.... do you think they will change them when the contract i signed states stanford (i cant check every tiny little thing ) my hot hot hot front door!! Re: shans build LOCKUP!! door mixup advice please!! photo he 100Jan 31, 2011 10:11 am The contract is a binding agreement so should be followed exactly. I would read the terms and conditions of the contract though as the builder may have the right to provide a substitue if your selected items are not available. You can always just call your CA and ask them directly we had a similar issue with our roof tiles. We picked for a certain colour and profile and then was told after the tiles went up that they didnt make the profile we wanted in that colour so was given a different profile not chosen by us as in our contract it stated they maintained the right to provide a substitue. I would be calling them though as its best to hear it from their mouths as opposed to speculating. Hope the rest of the build goes well its looking fantastic INFINITI - COMMODORE HOMES NEWHAVEN ESTATE - PIARA WATERS land settled-13.01.2010 Prestart-08.03.2010 Siteworks-20.04.2010 Slab-12.05.2010 Bricks- 11.06.2010 untill 30.06.2010 Roof- Completed on the 06.08.2010 Lockup- 20.08.2010 PCI - 01.10.2010 Handover Completed - 15.10.2010 Thank you so much everyone.
