So moving on the Saturday went really smotthly we managed to get the truck and do the whole house in 2 loads! We have a great friend who has moved house heaps and was REALLY good at packing the truck! We had everything moved and unpacked by 9:30pm that night! Phew!!! Massive effort! It was really cool to sleep in the new house as it doesn't make any cracking noises yet! It is sooooo quiet! Our gorgeous new neighbours gave us dinner that night too. How awesome! So we have had almost all out curtains installed. The blinds were done about a week ago and the plantation shutters and pelmets were installed today except for the main bedroom as they had writen down the length and width the wrong way so now we have to wait another 6-7 weeks to get them......however they have offered to make us some temporary blinds in the meantime. We don't have a timber floor yet as the concrete had to be levelled which happened today. Floor is coming on the 17th of feb. I really hate concrete dust!!! Evap cooling in on Tuesday......ahhh to live in a cool house again......wonderful!!!! Oh yes we have the planning permit for the pool and should have it by 4 weeks at the latest! Yee haa! Might get a couple of swims in this summer So I guess you might want some photos, disclaimer...nothing looking really beautiful yet as bank still has all our cash! Oh by the way did I mention that Telstra's Big Pond is mind boggling in its incompetence! My ikea cabinet that took AGES to put up!! MY lounge room! I like your set of drawers. Very nice.I went to Ikea yesterday as I was in Richmond for some other shopping. Thought I would go have a look. Some really nice stuff in there. Blinds and shutters look good. I like the sheer curtain in your lounge. That is the sort of sheer I was thinking of with curtains in our 2 front rooms. The light above your bench is one that I have looked at for the kitchen between our benches. Have you put up a pic of your splashback front on (full frontal??) with the cupboards. I'd love to see one if not. Well done. A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands.
