Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Grantham Estate, Riverstone 761Jun 08, 2015 2:54 pm Does anyone know if the estate has been cabled for Foxtel or if we're going to need a satellite dish? The last time I called Foxtel they couldn't tell me so thought I'd ask here before trying them again. I need to know so I can tell the electrcian as they're running the cable and need to know where to end it. Re: Grantham Estate, Riverstone 762Jun 08, 2015 3:55 pm I believe this site has been provision for NBN. You can go the following web site for more information. http://www.nbnco.com.au/develop-or-plan ... t-map.html Re: Grantham Estate, Riverstone 763Jun 09, 2015 9:36 am I believe the Estate can get Foxtel via cable. We had our communications and electrical appointment last week and mentioned to all involved we are getting foxtel, at no point did anyone advise us that we wouldn't be able to. I have created a Grantham Estate community Facebook group for all residents. It can be used to chat with neighbors, organise events, advertise and more. All you need to do is search: Grantham Estate Community in your Facebook search bar and click join. Your welcome to post things to the wall such as introducing yourself or things about our community. It may be a little quiet now but once everyone moves in I am foreseeing it to be a great asset to all of us! Thanks Jarna Re: Grantham Estate, Riverstone 768Jun 10, 2015 2:08 pm That's so strange I have had a couple of people join just now and when I search from my husbands profile I can find it. If you are still having troubles please let me know and I can request to add you. Re: Grantham Estate, Riverstone 771Jun 10, 2015 2:24 pm Labtamg Hi All, After the search on FB, click on more then Group since by default FB shows page. Thank Jarna for creating the group. Congrats .. that's really good news.....The most amazing thing of all the days they selected that day to pour the slab when it was raining..... So this means rain doesnot really stops the work... If they are willing to do something they will do it under any circumstances... Hopefully my slab is also poured next week.... Let see.. Re: Grantham Estate, Riverstone 775Jun 11, 2015 9:42 am Trust me, I had to lose my mind a little bit and threaten legal action if nothing was done. I spent the long weekend on the phone, on site & in the sales office and I wasn't giving up until we had people on site Saturday afternoon and throughout the entire weekend to get it ready for the slab yesterday. They must be scared of my crazy bridezilla ways - as they were out there on a Sunday and public holiday Monday getting it ready for yesterday. I was wondering if anyone could please give me some info about timber framing. As part of my package i only have the standard timber frame included that is not termite treated. When i was driving around the estate i notice a lot of homes have the Blue T2 termite resistant timber framing. Should i be worried that mine is only the standard framing without the Blue T2 treatment? In my inclusions it only says i will have house perimeter termite treatment. Any opinions on this will be greatly appreciated. Re: Grantham Estate, Riverstone 777Jun 11, 2015 12:05 pm Hi Everyone, I was wondering if anyone could please give me some info about timber framing. There's not many companies does framing and it's easy for them to spray the lot at one go as most builders do it now. you might end up getting blue T2 anyway. A lot of those Covenants are put in place at the time the Developers are still involved and marketing a certain look and they get ignored or expire after a time. If the… 1 2951 |
