Re: Home Group WA - Tile Meeting Booked | Grano Down ✔️ 722Nov 20, 2015 12:46 pm bryzza How did you go mentioning not having the border tile ? I didn't get what I wanted there but he did let me remove other things. I have to have the 1 row in kitchen and scullery which he said will be tacked on and has wrote on the tiles that they will be removed. Laundry was originally 2 rows and he has allowed us to have 1 row instead and only tacked on too They made me have 1 row for skirting in the laundry scullery and also around the vanity which is the powder sink in the hallway I had to keep the laundry but he has allowed us to remove skirting from scullery and around the bottom of the vanity on the wall area so that this can match our tile we are laying or have no skirting in those areas so he is getting the plasterers back in to plaster to the floor for us as he said there is no point us laying them if they are going to come off or look silly Re: Home Group WA - Tile Meeting ✔️ 723Nov 20, 2015 1:08 pm H!! posting to follow! our designs are similar, and colour choices! must have good taste hey! look forward to seeing it all come together! That's great, you'll be in, in no time. I think it depends on who you get aswell. Admin took FOREVER lol. We had problems with brick work which then took 5-6 weeks in total but we are sitting at 15 weeks in now and happy Re: Home Group WA - Tile Meeting ✔️ 731Nov 20, 2015 2:22 pm Natalie92 So tile meeting was very confusing but we got there in the end. CLO said it would be 30mins which ended up being 1hr 10min and could have gone longer but I really needed to leave. Tiler couldn't make it to the meeting but SS said he is starting Saturday and be finished on Thursday. The addenda was correct but due to having the Crosby selection sheet as well with amendments it was all over the place but got there in the end. Screeding has been done in the bathrooms along with waterproofing aswell. Kitchen problem with the kickboard underneath he already noticed himself and has organised them to come back and fix and also replacing a few gloss doors that has scratches/dents. Scullery stone also delivered so that will be installed soon All trades are booked in before Christmas except carpet Aircon install is 9th Dec so I need to call them and make the changes as they still haven't called me Plumber and electrical are in after the tiling is completed Paving is around 13th Dec I think he said and also garage door will then be installed. He thinks PCI will be middle of Jan and then keys first week of feb so not long now Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Thanks for the kitchen benchtop photo!!! Omg it's confused us more!!!! I still can't decide whether to go carerra or Venatino!!!! I'm worried the Venatino won't have enough marble through it! But then im worried the careera will have too much :/ It looks amazing!!! And at least they cut you some slack with the tiles! But no one on here has chosen it Mon I know what you mean I hadn't seen carerra so took a big risk. Can home group show you a home that has been done with that? Or pictures? Re: Home Group WA - Tile Meeting ✔️ 736Nov 20, 2015 5:40 pm Hi Nat, Is that marble you posted the Della Vita Carerro stone? Or is that a tile?? I'll have to ask them again. They keep referring me to the one picture that they have on the Della Vita website. I emailed the della vita guys and they were useless- I asked if we could come in to see the slabs and he said no. I really like your carrera as its not too overpowering. But I just want to see a Venatino haha! I might email home group again- surely someone's had it installed in the last 4 weeks. Mon The picture I have uploaded actually is probably the patch in the bench that has the most marble in it, if you zoom in on the bench with the green plastic you can see it's not a lot Re: Home Group WA - Tile Meeting ✔️ 740Nov 20, 2015 8:14 pm Natalie92 jasmineandjason Hi Nat, Is that marble you posted the Della Vita Carerro stone?
