But your situation is other way around. We should do something to keep our building process. Really not sure what is going on? Re: Grantham Estate, Riverstone 705May 25, 2015 12:06 pm grantham chick To anyone building with Ichijo: I doubt the issue is with blacktown council... Ive been told by ichijo that it is the private certifier, who has requested further information/drawings from ichijo. They did that last week and told me it would be 1.5 weeks to get something back from the certifier. Re: Grantham Estate, Riverstone 706May 25, 2015 1:06 pm Hi Matty You are right. I doubt it too. Other builders didn't have any problems. They have started constructions already. Should we all go to Ichijo office to ask, what are they really doing? Re: Grantham Estate, Riverstone 707May 25, 2015 2:37 pm 13 weeks after approval and Jandson customers are still waiting for slabs ... so not all builders are not dragging their arses lol It will be a Christmas miracle - literally - for anyone who has not started, is weeks away from starting or has just started to be in by December this year. Really depressing. Hi Matty, I've contacted the private certifier today and confirmed that the CDC application is approved, pending the driveway application approval by Blacktown council. So at least that part of story is consistent with what Ichijo has told me thus far. I don't know what's holding blacktown council with approving the driveway application. It's been two mos since the application has been lodged. My latest plans have had the driveway width reduced as it gets to the crossover... so maybe that was the issue with council? At least we're not alone! Re: Grantham Estate, Riverstone 713May 25, 2015 11:45 pm 46Andrew Hi Andrew Street Owners, Has anybody face an issue with garage door width? The garage door width needs to be up to 3.2M for the land block width of 12M Hi everyone I'm lot 45 Andrew street building with Firstyle. I received an email late this afternoon from firstyle stating that due to the land being only 12m wide the private certifier will only approve if the garage door width gets amended to 3.2m. I'm confused because I have a double garage. How am I going to get 2 cars in there ? The estates going to hear me coming home each night I'm liable to take out the garage wall if I have to do internal garage maneuvering Re: Grantham Estate, Riverstone 714May 26, 2015 5:29 am Hi grantham Chick I tried to reply you but I am not sure, if my message has gone through or not. Let me know, if you have not received my message. I will provide you my mobile number for further discussion. Thanks Re: Grantham Estate, Riverstone 715May 26, 2015 5:33 am Hi Andry Our builder already told us that if the front size of the block is 12m or less, we won't get approval for double garage. If your builder didn't mention it in the beginning, it is very sad. Re: Grantham Estate, Riverstone 716May 26, 2015 3:51 pm Our slab has been rescheduled for next Tuesday rain - hail - shine Lets hope it's third time lucky for us! Please, everyone cross your fingers!
