Hi, we wanted a mirrored splashback and they didn't want to offer it, but they were (eventually) going to allow a dark mirror one, like your pics.
It is not easy to find, but there is a dark mirror on display in the showroom near the showers/baths. It looks more like a wall/partition than a mirror, so keep an eye out for it. If you really want it, make sure you push for it as it can be done, even if they start off saying no.
I love the look of the mirror, those pics above are great.

Just wanted to check from people who have been through colour selection and have selected tiles as flooring option, Does Spectra offer Porcelain Glazed tiles as standard cat 1 (400X400) or only ceramic tiles are offered as standard cat 1 for flooring?

There are some porcelain tiles in Cat 1, but not many, and they are not rectified (meaning that they don't have the 'sharp' edge look). Look for the range that starts with 'Odessa' - there is white, grey, ivory, mocha and latte.

Silly me, when I took a picture of the Ceasarstones it got all blurry

can someone tell me what category the Concrete designs are ? Especially the fresh concrete, I was going for the creme brulee but now after seeing the concrete I really like the look of it.

I just forgot my other question lol when it comes back to mind I'll edit the post.

Also, If anyone needs a picture of something from the Spectra Centre I'm happy to take it.I know the feeling when you get home and you missed something and you live far away from the Centre ::wornout::

another question about splash backs lol does anyone know if carlisle offer the mirrored splash back as an upgrade? I couldn't see it anywhere in spectra! I'll attach two photos below of the look I'm after!

Pretty sure you can have mirror splash back , you can see that from Carlisle's display

I have to give Jade a big thanks she was such a lovely consultant, funny enough as she is building too, she showed me some more inspiration pictures as we both are going for a similar look :x]

As well as our electrical consultant, sorry I forgot her name, maybe it will come back to mind,she made this process really smooth, I really don't know much about electrical haha but with her it was easy peasy.

Although one thing I still don't understand is, that I was told that I can't go with a darker colour on my entrance door ??? To all people who went with darker colours, I would love your opinion on this. When I used the visualiser I made the Door similar to our Balcony the render is Log Cabin similar to Bunker, but then I was told that I wouldn't be able to go darker than our other colour Snuggle Pie I'm slightly confused as of why ::sad::

I really wanted a brownish or black door.

Hi Mrs Summer, we really wanted a Woodland Grey door but were told it was too dark. Apparently the dark painted doors can get very hot when/if the sun hits them and this can cause them to warp.
I was able to get Woodland Grey but had to sign a waiver on the warranty for the door. They didnt suggest this, i did, so you can always to do this.

Hi,

We are new to all this and we have fallen in love with the facade and colours of the Montclair. Unfortunately, the best floor plan we can get is with Porter Davis.

Can anyone tell me what the external colours are for the Montclair house they have on the website? (The render colour, front door stain, window stain, roof tiles, etc).

Any help greatly appreciated.

Just on this, is there much of a cost increase on going upto cat 2 for the kitchen? i really like organic white & fresh concrete, just a bit mindful of all the upgrade costs!

hi Guys,
I will be having my slab today. - Building the Aspen 26 in Wollert.
And at the same time seriously considering to appoint an Independent building Inspector.

I am just wondering, based on your experience, which building stages have you had the Inspector come in?
I am thinking of getting 2 x Inspection Dates. one would definitely the Final Inspection.
What is the other stage that i should consider?

Derbecca is offering x 3 Inspection as a Package, but i think its a bit over, is it?

I am planning on doing several stages, including frame, pre-plaster (electrical), and definitely pre-handover.

We are going with New Home Inspections. I have heard a lot of good things and I actually met the owner at the Home Show last year.

quick question, how long does it usually take after your first deposit do you normally hear from your assigned CLE regarding appointment times etc?

I was contacted within about a fortnight of giving my initial deposit

Thanks, A fortnight, hmmm my two weeks is coming up this Sunday. Will give a couple more days before i contact the office again

For me it was three weeks later when I got the call. Your file will go through some kind of permit and developer checklist first. And then your appointments get booked and you're told about them when you get the call from your CLE.
