We did our non refundable initial deposit yesterday to Carlisle to build a Riva 25 in Tarneit.
We have deposited with 2 builders as of now but with my research and floor plan we want to build with Carlisle, lets see how things go ahead.
I wanted to ask couple of basic questions:-
1) What would be the approx cost of upgrading the tiles of entry, kitchen (pantry), living & meals for a 25 sq house from standard cat 1 to something like Porcelain 600X600?
2) What would be the approx cost of having soft close in the kitchen furniture only?
3) What would be the approx cost of having privacy locks? We got 3 privacy locks for $51
4) What would be the approx cost of having door stops? We deleted them at tender because they were about $700
5) How good is the standard main door/lock and handle provided by Carlisle?
6) Approx cost of double power point $55/TV point /data point/extra batten light $55/external single sensor light/external double sensor light $178 ea/Two way switch/Florescent tube for garage $109
7) Cost of additional perspex doors
How good is Carlisle's standard Classic Starter 4 zone security system with 3 PIR standard motion sensors?
9) Refund of opting out of dishwasher (but having the dishwasher provision)
10) Are towel rails and toilet rails for both bathroom/toilets included as standard or will be charged extras, if yes how much?
11) Approx cost of 1 feature wall? Is it per meter sq based? Not sure about how it's calculated but ours was $414 for 4 walls of theatre and $404 for 2 feature walls master and living)
12) Approx cost of best category carpet underlay? $591

We have done tender/contracts etc for the Addison 24, so it should be similar in pricing, but their prices change due to suppliers, so you will get a more accurate price at tender. But above are ones i know from ours!
