Wow! Overseas trip and all! Lucky you Lux! All though we have had our fair share of O/S trips this year aswell... those will be put on hold for a awhile now! Where are you lucky to be off too? So your place will nearly back onto ours by the looks of it! Do know any of your neighbours along there yet? I know the the house behind us is nearly finished and they will be looking for fences soon enough, so wondering how that works really... have you organised that yet? And whoa re you going through for your driveway? Did you have any big costs associated with your slab and site costs etc... by the looks of the engineering plan you are not on a filled site.. but we are so I am just curious in the differences, if there will be any.. Cheers Amy and Del Hi Lux, You can move in and keep an eye on all the other properties lol. Well done in completing your dream home. Are you the single house, as you come out off fairthorne st on the left hand side? Off memory that was the only houes ready to go. good luck, Evonne hi Evonne, no it is on the Stafford street, second one on the right from the wet lands entrance to the stafford street. cheers. We are now so close to starting Just got final plans to sign off on Have building permits now and we have taps!!! Oh how exciting it was to see those taps!!! We have another dilema!! If any of you have followed my posts you would know that we have had our fair share of hassles. The tiles we have picked are now discontinued Have to select different ones Not that stressed bout it though We have gone for an all white kitchen with stone benchtops Does anyone have any suggestions as to what type of tile colour would look good with the white?? Thats great news about the building permit! White goes with everything, so it really depends on your space and how you will furnish the house in the future. What is your theme? natural or something modern. What will you use as a feature to bring colour into your house? walls, rug, curtains, couch the list goes on. Also if you have a small area, light colours make your space look bigger and dark colour will enclose the area. White is very easy to work with, just decide what your theme is and stick to it. The tiles we have picked are now discontinued Have to select different ones Not that stressed bout it though We have gone for an all white kitchen with stone benchtops Does anyone have any suggestions as to what type of tile colour would look good with the white?? Hello, I too have a white semi gloss kitchen. To compliment the whole thing I have gone for mocha like porcelan tiles in a stoney finish, couldn't do the high porcelan finish, way to much grime show on them. Then to tie everything in I added a very light mocha spalshback and on my island bench, where the kickback is I have added the same mocha colour backing. I got a colour designer to help me out, and it looked mad on the computer... Hope this has somehow helped you. Thanks!! Hi, we had the same question raised, and where told that its 70% of one material and 30% off another. So we went render upstairs and the pilliers, and brick downstairs which gave us our percentages. This was passed thru DAP.. Hope this has helped you understand..
