Re: Coral Homes slightly modified Longreach 62Oct 09, 2015 7:22 pm defdaz Yay!!! Congratulations!! Looks amazing, going to be great to watch your build alongside ours. We're a week ahead at the moment, let's see how long that lasts haha. Thanks defdaz. It will be good to share the journey with you and others that are starting around the same time. Site supervisor said we will be in in 16 weeks but may need to add an extra 3 for Christmas closedown. Fingers crossed our builds go as smoothly as llomas place!! We have nature reserve on all three sides and only two neighbours across the road. We will be directly In front of or neighbours in the new place but they are around 100m away. We are excited about the height the cut and fill gave us, where the deck is will now look down at the bush instead of being level with it. Peter who did our site scrap did an amazing job of it. Very lucky, hopefully we won't have to get a digger in afterwards now. Have a great weekend! Re: Coral Homes slightly modified Longreach 64Oct 09, 2015 7:52 pm Wow, such a lovely spot you have Coastalbreeze! You'll have an amazing view from that massive outdoor area, can't wait to see it come to life. Re: Coral Homes slightly modified Longreach 65Oct 09, 2015 10:15 pm Thanks maderinne we still can't believe we live where we do and we have been here for 7 years. cant wait to set the deck up. It is the main thing we are looking forward to. It is the size of what we are currently living in. Re: Coral Homes slightly modified Longreach 66Oct 10, 2015 8:05 am Love your block! Nothing better than waking up and looking at trees ️ since we have moved in we have found our tree loppers did a really ******* job of clearing. Sneakily leaving tree stumps in and putting bark over them etc. nothing we can do about it now though unfortunately. My build viewtopic.php?t=76386 Re: Coral Homes slightly modified Longreach 67Oct 20, 2015 6:30 pm Thanks Shanniidc. Sorry to hear your tree clearers were *******. Perhaps your partner can hire a stump grinder from kennards to finish the job? It sucks when you spend do much money trying to get things right and you get a ******* job. We are lose our site supervisor on Thursday so fingers crossed the new guy is just as good. Thanks livpal, the changes we made are worth the hastle and delays we went through in head office. Getting excited to see the end result. Re: Coral Homes slightly modified Longreach 79Nov 21, 2015 8:55 pm Oh I say. Making me regret not sticking with the Longreach now haha Re: Coral Homes slightly modified Longreach 80Nov 21, 2015 9:04 pm I had my heart set on the daydream but we went the Longreach for resell for the big block. It is going to be a nightmare to keep clean. I have been blower vacuuming for three hours today to clean up the wood chips before they put the plaster on on Monday and I have only finished three rooms!! We have termites galour so we don't want anything left to invite them in. Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 14956 Hi so sorry for the late reply.
