Sometimes it just amazed me why these tradies don't double triple check their work to save all the hassle of coming back to fix it. We also found some errors with the electrical work. Some points are missing. Anyway on positive side our roof tiles were delivered today. But the weather forecast for next 2 days going to be thunderstorm hmmmm i really hope the weather will hold up so that our roof could be install Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Whiteman Edge - Blueprint Homes : Plate Height 65Jun 22, 2015 3:54 pm Any sign of the roof Lady_Zu? I know the weather has been bad. Re: Whiteman Edge - Blueprint Homes : Plate Height 66Jun 23, 2015 12:28 am Roof started last Thursday and was suppose to finish on Friday however due to the rain, that has caused some delay. We thought they will be back today to finish it up since the sun is out but to our disappointment no one turns up. Hopefully they come back tomorrow to finish it. Ive seen quite a few posts here with unfinish roofing. Below some pics of our 80% finish roof tiles. I hoped they were as that's what i have chosen, it was nice to see the colour with the roof tiles Re: Whiteman Edge - Blueprint Homes : Roof Cover 72Jun 24, 2015 10:59 am Roof tiles was completed yesterday yippee! Unfortunately it was abit dark for pictures. They also installed lintels around the house. Next will be grey float. We are hoping the electrician and plumber come back soon to fix their errors. It will make sense to do them before grey float. Re: Whiteman Edge - Blueprint Homes : Roof Cover 74Jul 01, 2015 12:10 am Oh wow. U have the slab poured about the same time as us and roof work is nearly finished. Did u have to wait long for the roof tiles to come in? Which company manufactures it? Judging by your progress I'd say no later than October/November? Re: Whiteman Edge - Blueprint Homes : Roof Cover 76Jul 01, 2015 11:29 am sofia14 Oh wow. Hi sofia14 no we didn't have to wait long. Roof tiles went on a week after roof frame was completed. If Im not wrong its monier prime roof. I've been reading ur build...sorry to hear of the issues you've been having. Hopefully roof will be on for you soon. Re: Whiteman Edge - Blueprint Homes : Roof Cover 77Jul 01, 2015 11:31 am kron Awesome! Did they give you an estimated time of completion? Judging by your progress I'd say no later than October/November? Hi Kron when we met SS during brickwork meeting he was aiming for completion in 22 weeks which takes us to Sep. I doubt that will happen. Im aiming for Oct handover. By the way ur brickies did fantastic work..plate height in less than 2 week. Yeah I was surprised with how quick it was, took 5 days all up and is actually really well laid! 22 weeks, so roughly 6 months. We meet with ours next Wednesday so I expect a similar estimate which would take us into 2016. Really hoping it's not that long though, I'd love to be in before Christmas but never get hopes up too soon! Re: Whiteman Edge - Blueprint Homes : Roof Cover 79Jul 13, 2015 1:32 am I've missed so much - sorry! Things are coming Along now! I still love that plan of yours!! Re: Whiteman Edge - Blueprint Homes : Roof Cover 80Jul 16, 2015 12:40 am 22w is pretty fast build. Jealous. Our SS isn't willing to give us a timescale at all. So far, things have been moving as a snail pace on our side. 3.5 months since slab down, we r still far from lock up. It seems like everything is coming along nicely on your side.
