Anyone building/buying in Aspect Estate Greenvale?

So if anyone else wants pricing for their fencing from Intofencing they will definitely give a good price and their quote remains until you're ready!

This week our plastering will be finished and painting starts next week... Rob is doing most of our joinery so he can get measuring and start building which is great! We can also start getting measured and quoted for window furnishings! So excited to see actual plastered rooms tonight... And finally our front door has arrived.. Hope everyone is going along well...

Hope everyone's build is going well.

We had our handover today yay! The only thing that is not complete is our driveway as the rain has push them back a few days but we were happy for this to be done while we wait for keys.

I heard Ameava that you guys also had handover this week very exciting.

Anyway not long now to go

Hi,

Been ages since I've been on here, we have been busy selling our current home- glad to see there is so much progress for everyone. Yes we had handover yesterday. All went pretty well except for minor touch ups. We are doing our own flooring- that will be done next week.

That's great newbee de that you had yours today maybe we will be in roughly the same time.

Mark and I met the lovely Rob yesterday. Stacey your house will be amazing- rob invited us in and we had a little look.. I'm jealous. :-)

Hopefully this rain doesn't put any of us back too much. I still need to speak to in2fencing.

hi... Thanks Ameava. Rob told me he met you guys! Hopefully we will meet soon... Intofencing seem to be really reasonable and reliable so we will be using them... The rain is a bugger but hopefully ease up!

Our home is coming along and I'm really loving it... Can't wait to get in!

Hi all,

Well finally my block has settled and is officially mine (well, the banks!!) I was out at the estate a few days ago and suddenly there is about 8 or 9 houses going up in Charm Rd. Crazy as it was deserted a few weeks ago. I had a walk down Rappel St, all your houses are looking amazing. Quick couple of questions, I ws told in the estate we would potentially not need TV antennas as its done through a cable, but looks like everyone has one on their roof. Also, did anyone have any massive delays with council/developer approvals etc? I'm keen to get building asap. I just have a small issue that the developer and the builder don't agree on the fall of my block. Therefore it either needs to be fixed or I will be hit with higher costs. Watch this space.

Went to see the new Porter Davis displays last week. The Sandringham 47 is AMAZING! I think the two next to it are very close to opening also. As we're doing owner builder things are very slow and I feel like I'm always saying "very soon" to people. But....very soon now! In the meantime we've been shopping for tapware, heaters, carpet, etc. Exhausting! The estate is looking great now so hope all your builds are running along smoothly

We also went thru the porter Davis displays... Pretty impressive! And styled with Coco Republic furniture which helps! We are moving along good.. Finally have a front temporary door and just waiting on a couple of bits of glass to finish lock up... Skirting a are on and our joinery is in so painting starts this week! Just need a damn good clean up around the site but I'm sure that will happen over the coming weeks!

How's everything going with yours Rachel and Matt? I think your internal is at same stage as us! Is your brickie ok? I haven't seen them for a few weeks so hope everything is on track for you guys... I'm getting quotes for window furnishing over the coming weeks so happy to share contacts if anyone wants...

Hi all,

We're meeting PD onsite tomorrow to discuss our bricks. The bricklayer is due back this week and we have requested them to clean up our site and remove our bricks off both neighbours land as we have previously requested; sorry guys :S

Ameava, we have a quote for the fence between us already through In2 Fencing, I'll give you the details when I run into you.

Thanks Greychle, that will be great. I've actually got them coming out Saturday aswell for a quote and discuss our sidegate etc. I think we are getting our keys this week so we will be looking to move in the next week or so, so we are hoping to get the fences up as soon as possible. I was there today and you had work going on- not sure if it was your bricky though.

Looking forward to going through the new displays as they look really good.

Hi Rachel I wasn't meaning for you to clean up lol... Our site looks like a dump even without your bricks! There isn't much space between us so we're completely fine! Don't worry about it ok.... Good news that your brickie us returning and hopefully get it finished before the crap weather really sets in!

Some of you may know that there have been some break ins in the area. We were broken into and also our next door neighbour. It's very disturbing but also very common in new area's I've heard. Just thought I would give you the heads up.. :-(

Hi all

So we have moved in and I think are the only ones in the street. Have been in since Saturday and things are going well. All our fences are up and driveway is finished however has been too wet for them to pour our paths down our sideways. Damn rain has made it very muddy with two dogs things are very dirty.

Stacey we got out driveway done through Boutique so dont have the details sorry.

Mlp18 Charm Rd is looking good are you at the top or bottom of the street? Regarding antaneas we were also under the impression the cable was under ground but no good had to get an antanea installed yesterday.

Hi newbee, we are getting our keys tomorrow. We still have to get a few things fixed..but they will done over the next few days. I think we are having the same concreter as you..part of our driveway needs to be sealed but the rain has put us back. I could imagine how dirty the dogs are getting- :-)

Hi Stacey, they damaged the internal door in the garage, stole the microwave and damaged the cabinet in the kitchen. On a whole it could have been a lot worse. Our neighbour has been broken in three times.

Congrats on moving in, that is so exciting. But worrying about the break ins. Geez you would love to catch them. Newbee, I am literally in the middle of Charm Road, backing on to a house in Rappel. I'm across the road from a Henley house being built. Finally some good news. Was out at the block the other day and there was a grader there levelling it. Looks like the developer has agreed to fix it. Few more weeks till I can start. Can't wait. Fingers crossed for no more rain for you all!

The bricks are bothering me and I wasn't impressed with my builder/bricklayer imposing on my neighbours lots but appreciate your consideration Stacey

They have moved them off Ameava's block today and we are supposed to have bricky's onsite next week to finally complete the job!

That's awesome news Rach... I bet you're feeling better about that. It's worrying me a bit about the break ins, especially as our houses are starting fit off! I'll scream if someone starts damaging things and delays things... Omg if they steal my front door when it gets fitted!!!
