Re: Building in Landsdale with New Generation Homes - slab d 62Apr 30, 2013 11:26 am We looked at the lifestyle blocks as well...that's how we originally started looking at Corimbia we saw a sign for the lifestyle blocks and made enquiries but they we all sold or on hold so we put our names on the mailing list and let the girls at Corimbia know we wanted a block over 600 sqm. They told us there was one really big block coming up which was out of our price range and too big and then in a later release there was one block with park views that was over 600 sqm and so we were waiting....and then this block came up they wanted way too much so initially they laughed at our initial offers and so we walked away we put a final offer in when a 585sq m block came up at Corimbia (for the same price as the smaller block) and they accepted our offer No bonuses though so no free landscaping or fences (although luckily two of our neighbours had fences included and are already up- hope we don't get a bill) But the block is perfect we wanted a triple garage so a 19m frontage was fantastic. How big is your block then? butterbing No bonuses though so no free landscaping or fences (although luckily two of our neighbours had fences included and are already up- hope we don't get a bill) Bit of luck the other side will get the free fencing and start building around the same time as you. If the other blocks already had their fences provided by Stockland you won't be up for any bills, that's only the case if they had paid for the fencing themselves. Our brickies have started! We've all been really sick here for the past few weeks so haven't been able to get down and have a look, but my friend's sister lives in Landsdale so she has been doing drive-by's for us. Can't wait to get down and see for ourselves. Re: Building in Landsdale with New Gen - Brickwork started! 70May 17, 2013 10:57 am Hi PAlladian! We always drive past the area, I'll sneak in some photos next time we're there! Too dark for photos though Re: Building in Landsdale with New Gen - Brickwork started! 72May 27, 2013 10:57 am Finally got to go have a look yesterday! Starting to take shape now, it's exciting. The rooms look so tiny though! Hope the brickies get a bit done today before the rain sets in for the week. Re: Building in Landsdale with New Gen - Brickwork started! 73May 27, 2013 2:30 pm I always have that feeling when plaster hasnt been done yet, then all happy again when they look normal sized. Hope brickies will be finished soon for you Home Group WA Monte Carlo Timeline on Page 1 Re: Building in Landsdale with New Gen - Brickwork started! 74May 29, 2013 12:05 am Yeah the last time we built it was the same, the rooms looked so much bigger once they were plastered. Going to go up again at the weekend and hopefully more work will be done. I don't want to go up too much cos it gets annoying when it doesn't look any different. I'm very impatient to be moving in! I've just been going through our contract and I really don't like the doors we've picked. I let DH have the final say cos at the time I really wasn't that bothered, but now I am. I'm a bit worried that we've picked horrible render as well. Re: Building in Landsdale with New Gen - Brickwork started! 75May 29, 2013 10:08 am im having render colour regret.. will have to wait and see.. what door and render colours did you select? i always tried going every weekend.. you expect things to happen in a week Home Group WA Monte Carlo Timeline on Page 1 Re: Building in Landsdale with New Gen - Brickwork started! 76May 29, 2013 11:51 am Hi Palladian, do I have permission to take a few snaps of your place and post it on here if I happen to drive by? Thanks heaps. Nicci we picked Solver Parisienne with the feature column in Blue Shadow. They're in this brochure - http://www.solverpaints.com.au/diy/Colo ... 0Final.pdf - but they look different on the computer. I guess if it is unbearably horrible we can always paint over it.
