And this is the image I based all my external colour choices on: YSSIM, unreal! These are the same as mine (Mushroom). They look so nice now the brickie has finished. Re: What bricks did you choose - Show and Tell 65Apr 17, 2009 2:50 pm We have gone with Austral Homestead Red, they were cat 1. We will have light render and wanted to create an impact against the red bricks. Here is a photo although they are still bricking so they haven't been cleaned yet. http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i60/Hels-b/House/Bricks_close.jpg Blog: http://bluemistkids.blogspot.com "Never be afraid to try something new. I can see this has been a pretty useful thread for many people! We are going with Austral "Grange" from their Urban One range. Mostly becuase it was from the standard range to save on upgrade $$ but also because we wanted a darker brick, that wasn't too dark! We are going to have a lighter render around the front mater bedroom windows so it breaks it up a little... http://www.australbrick.com.au/sa/product.php?ID=8329 Has anyone used this brick or got any more pics of it in all it's glory!? I finally came to a decision, and chose Daniel Robertson's Hawthorn Tan Blend. I love them for their beautiful orangy/purple tones, and the very rough rustic look about them. Almost every brick is different. A huge upgrade, but worth every dollar! Mine are the 'old' batch, and the new one doesn't have as many colour variations. They gave us a sample brick and I have taken taken an image of both, we realise batches have variations but they look like a totally different brick, has anyone else had any similar experience? bricks_texture_sml.jpg Left is what was delivered yesterday and right was the sample from last year.
