The action of substituting this name with asterisks was in no way influenced by the company concerned. I'd decided as a result of a set of explicit guidelines that we like to adhere to, and trust all our members are familiar with, that we take this course of action. I would like to reinforce that this is usually done for the protection of the companies involved and also for the protection of our valued members. I'm under the assumption that few members are a little unclear with the rules pertaining to not just this forum, but forums in general. Individuals (regardless of their alias names used) are in fact responsible for their postings, and can in fact be traced very easily by IP address - where legally required. In other words, if you're unsure if what you're saying could land you in an unfavourable position, then simply do not say it, or simply find the right avenue of communicating your general problem which would still be open to some resolve without mention of company names altogether. There's probably more to be said regarding this, but has been touched upon many a times and over the last year or so. For those of you needing any clarification on this matter, please PM me. Frenchgal should take note of the above.... Everything i have said on this forum is 100% true. I would not under any means say anything that was not true for the above mentioned reasons. All the problems i have had with Henley, i ahve told them as well. So there Corusant. I dont know what your problem is but go pick on someone else. Re: henley home builders 69Sep 17, 2007 11:15 am french_gal Here is my question for all. If **** is watching, why not post on the forums??? Biggest problem i have had with them.. Lack of communication ( why say ill call you if your not going to do it) Why say a house is going to be finished and its not, then not give an explanation? Corusant..... Luck you. your 1 in a 100. Congrutulations. But i hope you have had a good close look at your hjouse and havent missed anything. 1 in a 100 FG???? That for starters is a misleading statement. Re: henley home builders 70Sep 17, 2007 11:30 am An exaggeration!!
Probably best to stick with the facts FG ... That way you cant be misconstrued Matt I have reverted to username - mattwalker Carlisle Homes - Grande 43 My building experience is here: http://www.ourgrandeplan.blogspot.com Re: henley home builders 71Sep 17, 2007 11:47 am I've watched this thread with great interest....as we built with **** and to be honest I can't praise them enough, not only just the actual build process, but after handover we had a couple of small problems and they were right on top of it.
As we have never built with another company I guess its hard to compare, but I think bad mouthing a whole company based on one persons experience is a little harsh........ Re: henley home builders 72Sep 17, 2007 12:08 pm lesha but I think bad mouthing a whole company based on one persons experience is a little harsh........ Your experience was good so you praised them, FG's experience has been bad so she bagged them. The beauty of living in a democratic society.... Our experience has been the same, smooth right from the start & through the building process. The way certain individuals bad-mouth builders on here and make incorrect and misleading statements (refer a few posts above this one) is shocking. Legally speaking, they not only put themselves at risk but this forum as well. Re: henley home builders 74Sep 17, 2007 12:11 pm Corsuamt...
Drop it! You made your point. Legally speaking, they not only put themselves at risk but this forum as well. I think that the point has been made. it is up to the individual to be responsible for what is posted. Lets move on. Adrian B Re: henley home builders 77Sep 17, 2007 12:16 pm all i can say, is that most people i have come across that have built with henley (20 people), only 5 have said good things about them and most of these people were on here.
I fully agree that it all depends where you are building, who your dealing with and so forth. i fully wish i didnt have to bag them out. I wish everything was going smoothly and i could praise them. But i cant and thats the bottom line. That why i post on here and let others know our experience with them. Re: henley home builders 78Sep 17, 2007 12:19 pm Corusant Audio Visual Dreams Corsuamt... Drop it! You made your point. Matt Thought you said we live in a democratic society Matt?? Its people like you that create problem, i over exagerated on one coment and you blow it out of preportion. What are you doing hanging around here if there is no problems. Run to your perfect little house. and leave this thread alone. Re: henley home builders 80Sep 17, 2007 12:30 pm I think it's absolutely crucial that builder customers are able to write up their experiences, good and bad, on forums such as this.
Builders are organised and can use all sorts of tricks to extract more money from customers. Some of the things I see are disgusting and immoral. So please, let's use this form and websites such as www.bestbuilder.com.au to rate builders. This way the builders that are good get more business and the ones that are bad get less business. This is the way it should be. Builders, rather than thinking of new ways to stop customers voicing their opinion should be glad they are getting feedback so that they can improve their business for all concerned. If all else fails for customers, then the courts come into play. The courts rightly side with customers since builders do this hundreds of time and should know bettter and there is no excuse. And some suggestions for Heenly. You seem to have some happy customers and some unhappy customers. Find out what makes some customers happy and others unhappy. Then apply the principles that make happy customers to all customers. In the short term it may reduce your profits, but I know it will be better in the long run.
