Im not sure about others but i was told that standard grout colour on the floor is grey and walls is white.. which worked out well for me as we are having grey tiles so only needed to upgrade the grout on the walls. _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5505Sep 24, 2016 2:32 pm caitnkase Hi all, how much do they charge per extra light point? For owner supplied fitting? When I did my appointment it was $78 per fitting regardless of whether it was a downlight, pendant or wall sconce C U S T O M. C O R A L. Did that happen at your colour appointment or onsite? Thanks! Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5507Sep 24, 2016 8:17 pm We are having vinyl planks and have just had our colour appt and they did not mention that at all and i hadnt even thought of it. Would they start at the hallway and lay them longways down the hall?? Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5508Sep 24, 2016 9:08 pm NicMac03 We are having vinyl planks and have just had our colour appt and they did not mention that at all and i hadnt even thought of it. Would they start at the hallway and lay them longways down the hall?? That's what I'm hoping!! I'm having laminate throughout, and like you it wasn't mentioned at our colour selection. Will be interested to hear how it went for others? Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5509Sep 26, 2016 12:34 pm Can any of you helpful fellow builders help me out with rough pricing for the following upgrades by any chance?: Upgrade from the crappy cruiser range carpet, that's included, to something from the silver range? Off white brick mortar? Extra pricing to lay tiles from the included silver/gold builders range - but for the rectified porcelain tiles? Just after rough pricing, obviously it varies a little with different house sizes - ours will be 32 squares (Marcoola 32) Thanks so much! We want blue cobalt for our feature bricks which I think is an upgrade but have no idea how much we would be looking. Does anyone has any idea? We have the Mornington facade Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5513Sep 26, 2016 1:57 pm Essy85 Hi there, just wondering if anyone can tell me does coral homes include tiling for wet areas in their base price? I know they don't include main flooring. Cheers! Yes, it does, as long as you pick within the standard range. We have the first quote and although it has the added 3999 for main floor tiles no where on the whole damn thing does it say wet area tiling. They seem to hide things so i have no idea how much they actually break down in price for the tiling of the wet areas. The carpet choices you get in that package are poo too, 6 colours and its flat crappy carpet - i have the same package for flooring and are going to have to pay to upgrade the carpet and then they sting you with more money for laying fees if you pick rectified and/or porcelain tiles as well Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5516Sep 26, 2016 3:06 pm Ryalls_first_build kikihome Can any of you helpful fellow builders help me out with rough pricing for the following upgrades by any chance?: Upgrade from the crappy cruiser range carpet, that's included, to something from the silver range? Thanks for that info! so what if you had your own tiler and supplied own tiles would the tiler be allowed to blend in with the build so that it's all done to code for hand over.. it's just that my dad is one of the best around he tiles master built houses in the area and has offered to do it all but now I'm worried! You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14664 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 15036 Hi so sorry for the late reply. I already contacted them and they wouldn't tell me instead they tried to get me to talk to one of their home coordinators and I'm not… 2 6147 |
