Thus, I just let WH do on driveway& path. The remaining such as softworks, additional concrete in rear side, retaining walls, etc will done by another landscaping company after handover. Anyone has a good company with good price introduce to me? But of course we have to pay for it! Does anyone knows the guidline to zero lot line fencing? Where should the fence starts! the begining or the end of garage? Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5424Sep 30, 2013 11:19 pm prad_p Hi All, We are building at 4440 maddecks avenue and due for completion by mid november. (Thats what we did) Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5425Oct 01, 2013 7:28 am Ranee From memory WH told us we needed the obscure glazing windows because of council requirement. Im not sure about the exact rules and regulations but friends that have already built in the area start the fence from where your build finishes on the zero lot line. for example, you might start the fence from the end of the garage. The neighbour then just latches side gate onto the side of your garage.....thats how ive seen it happen anyways!!!?!?!?! Hope this helps!!! Yep that's right, all my fences have been quoted from the end of build on the zero lot line.. The garages are an easement that have piping for some which means you can't cover the piping in case your neighbour needs to access it... Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5427Oct 01, 2013 8:35 am Ok, i know im getting really annoying with all my questions BUT.... Who can tell me what is better for light blockout.....plantation shutters or roller blinds?? Everyone, the people in the industry, is telling me different things and now i dont know what to do!! Opinions?! thoughts?!?! Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5428Oct 01, 2013 8:54 am rachnshane Hey everyone, Hope your builds are coming along nicely!!! They havent done much to our place in the last two weeks (take down scaffolding and clean 1/2 the bricks.....very frustrating!!!! Anyways... Can anyone recommend cheap blind/shutter places?!?!?\ Thanks Agree with Houdaman, Shade Elegance blinds prices were very competitive and they have beaten 3 other big blinds companies prices hands down, for the exact same product! their turn around times are great too, 10 working days (means, the blinds are made here in Australia! ) . We emailed our floor plans & the competitor quotes and they gave us a great quote! Opinions?! thoughts?!?! Hi Rach We hv both in our place. Lights do seep through the gap from the shutters which still makes it quite bright in our bedroom. U could get "block out" roller blinds but u still get lights from the side. Hope this make sense. U could hv a look at ours if u like Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5430Oct 01, 2013 11:34 am Izzysyd rachnshane Ranee From memory WH told us we needed the obscure glazing windows because of council requirement. But my neighbour wants to hv it all the way to the front which mean we will lose some inches in our boundary. Our block is already marrow n wouldnt want to lose anymore. Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5431Oct 01, 2013 12:07 pm Hmmm! That's no good! Not sure what the regulations are on that! Did they build in his zero lot line??? The blind people said that they both let in light but if u get the roller blinds on the outside of the architrave it lets less light in?!? Are yours on the inside?? I'll talk to the hubby about it and see what he thinks! Still got a few weeks to decide anyways!! Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5433Oct 01, 2013 3:06 pm Does anyone do plumbing here? I'd like to ask if my toilet drain will work with no problem. If I have toilet drain pipes like this in the picture, Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ will I have any problem when flushing the toilet? The horizontal drain pipe length is about 4m. I guess no gravity works on the 4m length horizontal pipe to push stuff through. but does it still work okay? overtime will there be dirty stuff stuck in the horizontal pipe line, and high chance of blockage compared to vertical drain pipe? Yeah it is - i also dont want to hv to pay extra 6mt from looking at bricks to fence. On balcony door n laundry door is outside cos it doesnt hv a gap where the roller can sit in. Do u want me to send u photos?
