Can anyone tell me roughly how much retaining walls cost? Is this something we would get a landscaper to do?

How long have you been waiting for registration? Since Jan 2015! Cheerio OB! Re: Who else is building at Oran Park? 5263Feb 03, 2016 9:03 am has anyone got any info on 10 C D E rego/settlement? We are building now, almost finished actually. We bought our block Feb 2014 and it registered in May or June 2015, so 15 or 16 months wait. I think we were initially told it would register in March 2015, but there are always delays with these kinds of things so I just assumed from the start that it would be a bit later than they said. Ours was a similar situation. We bought approx May 2014 and rego was due June 2015 but ended up being September 2015. We are building now and will be in the house mid 2016. It's a long haul but I think OPT is well worth the wait! Re: Who else is building at Oran Park? 5269Feb 03, 2016 9:17 am 1st_HomeBuyer I can only hope that this new suburb is worth the wait. Any suggestions or views? anyone? You would encounter the same situation in any new development, it's annoying but it is just how it goes. It is not an OPT issue, just a new suburb development issue in general. We have live din OPT for the past year (we sold our old house and moved into the area renting so our son could start school while we are building). We are very happy here. When we were buying we were looking at the following - Stockland - Elara Marsden Park Lend Lease - Jordan Spring Landcom - Oran Park. Frankly all my mates who bought during the same timeline, would be into there house by the time we start construction. We are the ones now waiting and waiting and waiting......... Cheerio OB! I am sure we would be in the same shoe in future. My kido starts school in Feb 2017 so i would also need to rent out in OPT. how is the public school? Can someone give like 5 pros and cons? Cheerio OB! Re: Who else is building at Oran Park? 5272Feb 03, 2016 9:29 am One of my friend is sending her kids to OPT public school and they said it is good. There is an anglican school opp to harrington grove on the way to camden valley wY. However there is a tution fee of $6k per annum. From some old posts on this Thread, i can tell you, that you do not need to go to OPT again. Just do your landscaping the way you want. Still, let others comment and confirm. Cheerio OB! Re: Who's building with Clarendon?? 5278Feb 03, 2016 1:31 pm You do need to resubmit it for approval if you want to apply for rebates , they may refuse to pay. We are happy with the public school. My son has made some lovely friends, I have made some lovely friends. He is happy to go to school every day etc. and he learnt loads in kindergarten which was great to see. There is also Oran Park Anglican College and St Justin's Catholic Primary School. I have friends with kids at St Justin's and they are very happy there too. What are you wanting pros and cons for, the school or the suburb in general? I don't really have any cons. I mean ideally we would have liked to have a bigger block and more space around the suburb in general but that is just not the way new estates are designed these days and we knew that when we decided to buy so can't really complain about that. There are lots of parks around the place though and more planned for the future and great sporting complexes under construction too. My son plays in the local soccer team and there is also a local football and cricket team. Great community events for Easter, Halloween, Christmas etc. A survey must’ve completed by a certified surveyor. This form part of every DA requirement 3 226103 |
