Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 521Jan 21, 2014 10:01 am Hi All, Sorry for my absence. Have been busy with trying to keep kids entertained during school holidays and work aswell. So happy to see the live activity on this forum. I can sense alot of excitement, mixed with anxiousness. I am, like many of you, getting a little impatient with this whole building process and wish they would start already!!!! I was contacted yesterday by Eden Brae to advise that they are submitting my plans to council today. So I guess I will have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for approval and then longer before they start. I sure hope that we get in before Christmas! As we have a few newcombers to the forum and since Ive been nominated as the Events Co-ordinator (no thanks to Rizan LOL), I will organise another meet at the property in the coming weeks. Will keep you all posted. Thanks all for the updates and keeping everyone in the loop. Very much appreciated. Well done on all your efforts so far. Honi (Lot 6) Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 522Jan 21, 2014 10:22 am Shellstar76 I'm still on the email list for Alex avenue & Mirvac just emailed me the price list for their next release..... House & land packages $595,000 but with a land size of 293m2! They also have some for $570,000, that land size is 240m2. I think all at the grange have made the right decision looking at those prices. Incase anyone is interested, By accident, I found a map on the internet and it shows some planned road changes. The entry to boundary road is going to be moved slightly up the road to connect and to create an intersection with alex ave, across schofields road. And brighton st is going to extended all the way through to reach the railway terrace ( better access to public transport) There is quite a few planned roads to change in the area. Just thought I'd share what I found Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 523Jan 21, 2014 10:28 am azzopardi Shellstar76 I'm still on the email list for Alex avenue & Mirvac just emailed me the price list for their next release..... Should be interesting to see how its all going to take shape. Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 524Jan 21, 2014 11:20 am EBH provided the construction certification number, on my request. I got in touch with Blacktown council to understand the status. The land and titles office is expected to release the new DP numbers, etc on the 28th of January. The council will process the remaining paper work upon this step is complete. Feb settlement is still on the cards. Just thought I'd share what I found Do you happen to have the URL for the site? Sorry my whole computer crashed and I really cant find it again? However, while trying to retrace where I found it originally, I noticed you can actually see it on Google Maps. Go to Google, type in Brighton St Riverstone NSW. Zoom in until you see at the very end of Brighton Street, it shows grey shaded parallel lines with the words "planned road" and it leads all the way to Railway Terrace. It does this for all the planned roads in the area (obviously that aren't planned by developers, just the council) if you just move the map around, you will see them. Hope that helps! Does anyone know if they have submitted all of stage 1 as we bought our lot in June 2012 and have not heard a thing ????? Hope all are well Paul Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 530Jan 21, 2014 4:49 pm Hi Paul, This is what I was told by my project manager: "Plans were sent on 09/01. A lot of our Riverstone Jobs were sent in bulk " No idea whether that includes yours specifically, but most should have already been sent. You'll probably need to contact Eden Brae to find out whether your specific contracts were sent at that time as well. LOL PAUL Hi Paul, I was just contacted today by Eden Brae to tell me they are submitting my plans to council today. Some must of been submitted earlier. Try and stay on top of Eden Brae. As for internet, there is NBN connected in the area. You need to ask them if they have it in your contract. They told me that I would have to pay extra for NBN as it wasn't included, but after speaking to others, I found out they were charging some of us and not charging others. So I posed the question to Eden Brae and they waived the fee. Check with them and make sure you have everything in writing. Hope that helps. Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 536Jan 21, 2014 6:25 pm Have a look at blacktown council online tool. It list the construction applications received from Eden brae for riverstone. It listed 13 applications received from EBH-( last time I checked over the weekend.)
