@mickm: Mate I wish we could meet personally and I can share with you the whole story where it all began. timhobart heard my story when I chanced upon him in one of my visits to the Greenway campers and we became instant friends. All I can say is that my knowledge is publicly available in the net and it is just a matter of being diligent in your research. My family ended up buying 3 properties at Greenway but I still believe that Elara is a practical choice considering the prices of nearby estates. I have several friends who were also lucky enough to secure their own blocks at Elara so todate Elara still has a place in my heart. If I were still a buyer what may stop me from buying a block at the Burawa Rise is the 'Existing Transmission Line Easement' since the proximity may impact the property value, not the drainage infrastructures. To All: Honestly I am not happy with the way these land developers have been increasing their prices, whether it be Elara or Greenway. They have taken advantage of the fact that Bunya, Stonecutters Ridge and The Ponds have sold their final release. I feel for those, especially first home buyers, who have tried in vain to get blocks in that area. I agree with mickm that it is indeed now time to rethink your options because what looks exhorbitant now may not be considered expensive later on. Continue to be prudent in your research because we are not talking of a few thousands but which may be the biggest investment in your lifetime.
