House is at lockup and they started rendering today. I cant believe how fast its going and we have a rental contract until end of March! The SS said it will be ready late Jan/early Feb... Ive been shopping already and bought lots of new furniture. Re: settlers run, botanic ridge...LOCKUP IN LESS THAN A MONT 504Nov 29, 2011 9:05 pm So excited, we have a handover date of 15th December. We are with AGL for gas and electricity, and want to keep them at the new house. Does anyone know the procedure without disconnecting as our landlord doesn't want these services disconnecting, he is moving someone in the next day? Re: settlers run, botanic ridge...LOCKUP IN LESS THAN A MONT 505Nov 29, 2011 9:31 pm CONGRATULATIONS ELAINE I'm so pleased for you Re: settlers run, botanic ridge...LOCKUP IN LESS THAN A MONT 506Nov 29, 2011 10:48 pm Yay, how exciting!!!! We were with AGL in our old house that we sold and arranged for disconnection however as the new owners also signed up with AGL they did not disconnect us just sent a meter reader out to check the usage the day before handover and sent out our final bill (i did take a pic of the meter just in case) and then closed our acct and had already started a new one with the new owners. Not sure how the gas works as we only have bottles here. Re: settlers run, botanic ridge...LOCKUP IN LESS THAN A MONT 511Dec 01, 2011 3:53 pm Kitchen, laundry, bathroom & ensuite cabinets are in! Fixing stage is complete. I didn't take the camera but Ill take some shots next time I get in! Anyone know how hard it is to break a rental contract? Ive signed this one till end of March and I dont think the house is going to take that long. Re: settlers run, botanic ridge... KITCHEN IN!! 512Dec 02, 2011 6:19 pm You will have to pay for advertising for a new tenant and the rent until they find someone... I doubt it will take long as apparently there is a shortage at the moment! Re: settlers run, botanic ridge... KITCHEN IN!! 515Dec 07, 2011 12:52 pm thanks, but that's not the colour it hasn't been painted yet, it will be 2 shades of brown Re: settlers run, botanic ridge... KITCHEN PICS 517Dec 14, 2011 10:36 am HI everyone, seems people are busy with christmas so not to many posts happening. Well our saga continues with Carlisle homes, they have informed us this week that the body corp will not allow them to put a 800mm batter along our fence line, therefore carlisle homes would like us tp part with $5500.00 for a treated pine retainer wall, 27 metres long x 800mm high, that they will not warranty against warping. Well ya can guess what my reply to that was, BLOW IT OUT YA A%#E.I have done the costings and the material cost is a little over $800.00. We are definately in the wrong trade!!!! Re: settlers run, botanic ridge... KITCHEN PICS 520Dec 23, 2011 12:19 am Bit of a worry for house prices in the area with Peets subdivision plan for Craig Rd showing mostly very small blocks of land some being only 250sqm and an avg of around 450sqm. What a shame to do this when BR and SR have done such a great job to keep sizes reasonable and make a lovely spacious estate. http://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rct=j ... OdOATXty8A 7 6448 I had a similar issue with my fridge not too long ago. It wasn't the same model, but the symptoms were pretty much the same: the compressor would start and then stop… 3 9416 |
