Re: Custom Design floor plan thread post them here!! 468Nov 01, 2010 8:07 am Hi again everyone, Just wanted to ask for some advice/comments. We are still waiting to hear back from our builder but the link below is more or less what we are going with I think (few changes to kitchen and also entrance area). Atm, the only exit out to the back is thru the kids hallway and also thru the dining room. The plan currrently only shows a window in the lounge and rumpus. Thinking that maybe another sliding door/exit is required but just wondering where if any/all of them should go with the options of in the lounge out to the alfresco (vergola) with some steps down (as this is a split level), exit out the lounge to the back and/or doors out the rumpus room. Any suggestions? http://img521.imageshack.us/f/ingridtha ... 10flo.png/ Re: Custom Design floor plan thread post them here!! 469Nov 01, 2010 10:04 pm Hi there, new poster here. I am in the process of sorting out a floor plan with my builder. This is the current plan drawn up by the builder - http://s1137.photobucket.com/albums/n52 ... rplan1.jpg There are a few things I will like to change in this design without changing the size of the house. Can someone help put my words into drawing? 1. I don't like the linen robe in the middle of the walkway and the toilet just next to it. I will like to move them elsewhere and if it makes the passage way entry to the bedrooms wider, I am perfectly happy with that or to not make it huge, I can change where the existing linen is to a walk in pantry area facing the kitchen. 2. I much prefer to have the laundry, linen, bath and WC together either where BR2 is or where BR 4 is. Preferred would be BR4 as the laundry opening can then go straight into the backyard than the side and allows for the clothesline to be fixed on the wall behind BR3. I can also visualize the linen robe going behind the space behind the WC if the wet areas get move to where BR4 is currently. By doing that I can now move the ceiling access to the laundry I think. 3. I am willing to take 0.5m from the theatre to fit in the replacement BR4 where the existing wet areas are. This is so that I don't extend the house longer as I was told the slight extension will cost me somewhere around $11,000. Thanks in advance! Re: Custom Design floor plan thread post them here!! 470Nov 02, 2010 4:40 am ingrid any of those ideas would work. maybe the rumpus, so the lounge doesnt become a through way out to the back.? but either or is cool axio that link just went to the bucketshop home page, couldnt see a plan Re: Custom Design floor plan thread post them here!! 471Nov 02, 2010 12:54 pm Hi Kiwi, thanks for letting me know.
