Middle of Feb seems along time away! Maybe that is a 'worst case' and might end up being late January if everything goes well. Your living room tiles look really nice, love nice big floor files Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - Painting!! 450Dec 10, 2013 1:43 pm They close next week and come back 13th Jan.. they get a VERY long break.. SS said all they trades we need don't work over the break eg plumber, electrician ect so there isn't anything for him to organise and he will book them in as soon as they get back from their break.. he did say we could get the blinds installed before we get keys so that is very nice of them just more waiting game.. ill be jelly when everyone elses houses get worked on over the chrissy break but ours aha Home Group WA Monte Carlo Timeline on Page 1 Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - Tiling!! 451Dec 10, 2013 1:49 pm I think our builder closes from 20th December until 13 January, so 3 weeks. But they don't do alot in the last week before Christmas anyway, the SS said mostly admin stuff as it all winds down. Annoying that it puts such a big delay o your getting keys. But what an exciting new year you will have When is your wedding? Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - Tiling!! 452Dec 10, 2013 3:08 pm Looking good Nicci, what a pain about handover. Can I ask ... the floor tiles in the living rooms - are these the ones offered by Home Group as part of their package or ones you sourced elsewhere?? Curious because we have prestart in the new year and not sure whether to keep their floor tiles or get a credit. Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - Tiling!! 453Dec 10, 2013 11:09 pm we are getting the white ones from HGWA we wanted other ones but it was going to cost $5,000 they were $50 m2 and 60x30 i do like the look of yours Nicci i hope they are the white ones from HGWA Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - Tiling!! 454Dec 11, 2013 10:25 am felicity01 I think our builder closes from 20th December until 13 January, so 3 weeks. But what an exciting new year you will have When is your wedding? Yep same closure dates.. our SS is under the pump to complete quite a few houses before their closure.. It will be a very exciting new year aha.. we getting married beginning of march.. cant believe how long the process has been so far.. time flies Marcia Looking good Nicci, what a pain about handover. Curious because we have prestart in the new year and not sure whether to keep their floor tiles or get a credit. These are the slow group ones.. we asked about credit back and was only 3.5k and what we wanted from Crosby tiles was going to cost 8.5k so an extra 5k.. we just decided to stick to the ones supplied.. 2-cupcakes-pls we are getting the white ones from HGWA we wanted other ones but it was going to cost $5,000 they were $50 m2 and 60x30 i do like the look of yours Nicci i hope they are the white ones from HGWA same as us, these are the white ones.. im pretty happy how they turned out.. looks good.. hope it matches the wall paint now aha Home Group WA Monte Carlo Timeline on Page 1 Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - Tiling!! 455Dec 16, 2013 1:15 pm Thanks Nicci .... yeah, our rep had told us the rebate was next to nix on the tiles so will probably go with them. I actually like the brown ones, but am worried they will be too dark when laid out across the open plan living space. I like the look of yours, they've come up looking sensational. We're looking to tile our alfresco instead of pave it, so need to make sure the tiles can compliment something for out side and your white ones seem to do the trick. Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - Tiling!! 456Dec 18, 2013 10:12 am I think the brown ones wouldnt be too dark with an open plan living.. thats an interesting plan to tile alfresco.. cant wait to see pics of that Home Group WA Monte Carlo Timeline on Page 1 Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - Tiling!! 457Dec 18, 2013 9:45 pm Sounds like they're being cautious with the PCI date Nicci, fingers crossed it's sooner! Looking good Re: Monte Carlo, Home Group WA-Corimbia - Tiling!! 459Jan 03, 2014 10:06 am We have two more weeks of nothing being done but before the chrissy break we had the painting done.. so happy with our colours..
