It has gone to titles office so hopefully it wont be long now. Even the kids are getting excited now. Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 422Sep 02, 2011 10:44 pm rodtrac Well after countless display homes, including a drive yesterday over to Point Cook, we have signed with Urban Edge Homes building a modified Rouge 004. Hey Rod, we're building with UEH too! And also a modified Rouge 004! Just in Eynesbury. Check out my signature for a link to our blog. Also very early days for us. -G Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 423Sep 03, 2011 12:55 pm Hi G, Love the blog and your floorplan. We have modified the Rouge 004 a different way by moving the laundry to the back of the house and the rumpus next to it keeping the alfresco the same as yours. Moving the laundry to the back has created a storage/workshop in the garage . Cheers Rod Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 424Sep 05, 2011 2:07 pm wilson3199 Thanks for that but I understand its something to do with the ResCode (residential codes when building), still hoping that there is a chance we could have plain or at least something a little less opaque so that you can still see the colour of the sky etc. Don't know why it affects us and not you unless to do with the golf course design, we overlook Hole No. 3. Hi Elaine, Congrats on getting this far, the pics look great! Do you know what the coverings might look like? Do you have a link? We too overlook the third hole... Hope you find a happy medium Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 425Sep 05, 2011 11:36 pm tandli wilson3199 Thanks for that but I understand its something to do with the ResCode (residential codes when building), still hoping that there is a chance we could have plain or at least something a little less opaque so that you can still see the colour of the sky etc. Don't know why it affects us and not you unless to do with the golf course design, we overlook Hole No. 3. Hope you find a happy medium Hi Tandli, thanks, we are putting it on hold for a while, don't have a link. Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 427Sep 08, 2011 3:36 pm Hi LTH It has been a long while since i have posted on here. So excited that our land is settling on the 19th. Got a letter from our solicitor on Tuesday woohoo Are you starting to build straight away??? We are starting this month and i cannot wait..... I see the 2 blocks next to us are for sale too..... Hope everything goes smoothly Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 428Sep 08, 2011 3:46 pm Hi Beemac42 We have a site start for November, hopefully they can bring it forward and start asap. Are you still building with UE or someone else? Were really looking forward to moving to Settlers. Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 429Sep 09, 2011 5:56 pm We originally thought we were locked in for a November site start, but we were informed a few weeks ago that they have us locked in for a september site start. They have us down for starting the week of September 23rd, but i am guessing they will start in the last week of September. We are building the Drysdale 28S with Porter Davis. I went past there today actually as good friends live in Botanic Ridge estate and i can't wait to start. Still worried about the slope of our block but we will work something out with the landscaping Cant wait to see it all start developing Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 430Sep 09, 2011 8:13 pm youre so lucky to be starting soon. Is the Drysdale a Places home? I think we looked at that and it was on our shortlist. Im glad we arent building the same house. LOL Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 431Sep 09, 2011 8:31 pm I was just reading back thru this forum and saw your estimated site costs of $35k, do you know have an actual figure yet? Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 433Sep 14, 2011 9:45 am thats great news BigE. Would love to see some pickies Has everything gone smoothly with UE? Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 434Sep 14, 2011 10:31 am LTH; we had a view issues, but everyone does I guess. The good thing was that all issues were fixed quickly. I never expected it to be 100% smooth but all you want is for it to be fixed with no fuss and they have fixed the issues with no fuss. Some of the issues werent really issues example; we have a window splash back in the kitchen, the frame was completed with the window to high, but this was fixed during the inspection and fixed well before the windows even went in. I will get some pics up tonight. Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 435Sep 15, 2011 12:48 pm So excited - our house is looking awesome. Anyone building next door to us yet?? http://s1124.photobucket.com/albums/l56 ... 0Progress/ BigE - great news about lockup Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 436Sep 16, 2011 2:33 pm Hi LTH Yes it is a places home.... Couldn't find a floor plan that suited us better.... We got such a great deal with places, and now that it is porter davis you don't get as much with the house so we are happy with it. So far so good with porter davis, but the real test is about to start lol Would have been so funny if we built the same house lol I wish we had the same flat block as you guys do. Have you been down there recently??? Ah our site costs came in at $20,091..... Cheapest by far from anyone. We only need 1 retaining wall which is great, but not looking forward to the landscaping. Who are you building with and what house now??? Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 437Sep 17, 2011 2:45 pm Elaine, yay you're house looks fantastic Beemac - were building the Uber 4 with Urbanedge. Handed over all the cheques to solicitor yesterday for Mondays settlement. Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 438Sep 18, 2011 11:16 am lasttimehopefully Elaine, yay you're house looks fantastic Beemac - were building the Uber 4 with Urbanedge. Handed over all the cheques to solicitor yesterday for Mondays settlement. Hi Audrey, thanks yes we are so excited but at lockup now so will have to play the waiting game again. Still no sign of anyone building either side of us, does that mean we don't have to do the fences straight away I wonder???? Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 439Sep 24, 2011 8:22 pm We have a tap!! Beemac - don't know if you've been to Settlers lately but you have one too Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 440Sep 25, 2011 3:00 pm Good news - Land settled on Friday. Bad news - found out that if my kids want to go for a swim at the clubhouse with one of their friends it will cost $10 for a visitor. I think that's a bit rough considering child entry at the Casey Arc is $5.40. 7 6445 I had a similar issue with my fridge not too long ago. It wasn't the same model, but the symptoms were pretty much the same: the compressor would start and then stop… 3 9403 |
