Can't wait to hear all about it My thread - viewtopic.php?t=77170 Re: Commodore Homes Build in Wellard WA - PCI Completed 408Jul 04, 2015 7:44 pm Sorry for delay in updating been busy!! So PCI was completed on Thursday, and it went well, nothing too major and in total there was about 25 small items to fix - majority small repairs, cleaning of things, our toilet seat needs replaced as it wasn't staying up and front windows need fixed. Our SS had done a walk through himself the day before and had noted a lot of things down which was good. Most major mistake was they had forgotten to put a power point in for the hot water system so couldn't test the hot water, and the back patio doors are very stiff so they are getting serviced. It was great getting to see the completed house as I hadn't been in since before carpets went down. I LOVE my kitchen Totally forgot to get a copy of the list of fixes after the inspection but thankfully my OH seen the SS the next day and he got the copy - along with all the dates when the jobs were being fixed yay So we have booked the second inspection for 20th July and all being well will get the keys later that day Our SS is off for 2 weeks and so is our CA so I am glad that all the jobs have been booked in and I just hope they all get done in time. My thread - viewtopic.php?t=77170 Thanks and yay the SS was quite shocked that it was missing AND missing from the plans too so someone really screwed up - surprise surprise!!! Oh and he was telling me that recently 1 of the other SS's resigned and another one was let go as he was useless, I couldn't help but wonder if that was yours??!!! We have booked our internet to be connected on the 22nd and delivery of fridge and dishwasher then too and van was moving in on the 25th so yeah I can't wait - its been a loooooooooooooooooong build process!!!! Commodore Homes Build in Wellard WA - PCI completed 411Jul 04, 2015 8:03 pm Well that's interesting because we were told that our SS is on extended sick leave. Will be interesting if he just doesn't come back! This would be our 5th SS!! Not a single thing has been done in the last 2 weeks so he is definitely useless. Kinda crossing my fingers that he has been terminated lol. My thread - viewtopic.php?t=77170 Re: Commodore Homes Build in Wellard WA - PCI completed 412Jul 05, 2015 1:43 pm Of interest, at some point for in the last couple of weeks every contact I've had with our CLO, the response was changed from "I'll pass it on to your supervisor to look at" to "I'll pass it on to the construction manager to look at". Unlikely the same supervisor as you guys given we're NOR, but wonder if they're suddenly short staffed? (That or they're pulling out the big guns because they're under the pump because we managed to get a guaranteed finish date in our contract, and with the amount of time they wasted in admin that date is looming very quickly!) Re: Commodore Homes Build in Wellard WA - PCI completed 413Jul 05, 2015 1:44 pm (Hi sinurt! If you haven't noticed I've just started doing the rounds of other people building with BGC to check out what's happening in the world compared to our build congrats on your PCI! And that kitchen looks amazing!) Exactly the same thing we've been told! We've been speaking with Brian from National and not our normal SS which is weird. I think they are extremely short staffed, at least that's the impression I was given by our SS, and as far as I know he's a BGC SS not specifically a Commodore one. jasonb (Hi sinurt! I've got the impression that everything is BGC as soon as you sign the paperwork rather than whatever brand name. At least that's how it's seemed for us! Not that I really mind either way! Well well well Sinart, you hit the nail on the head. Email from CC today "Paul no longer works for the company". Brian is taking over until a new SS is appointed. What a joke! Also our sink is missing and a have a feeling that it's been stolen and I think I know who did it!
