Re: Coral homes - Marcoola - Pimpama 42Oct 26, 2016 10:13 pm jmart90 Love your colour selections 😍 was the mirror splash back an upgrade? Hi! Thank you! Yes the mirror splashback was an upgrade. We were told it's included in our $5000 kitchen upgrade package and at the colour appointment was also told an it was included in original upgrade option but then on the variation it was an extra $500. BUT - when a gal makes up her mind on something lol Re: Coral homes - Marcoola - Pimpama 43Oct 26, 2016 10:16 pm goldcoasthome Skypie you're house is going to be gorgeous!! Beautiful selections and I love how practical and spacious your floor plan is! Thanks to your help I've finally made my own thread yay!! P.S. I might be taking a trip to masters to look at those bins! Are they simple to install? P.S.S. To answer your question about our block size, it's about 409m2 I think or maybe 420? Lol I actually forget!! Follow my build - Newlyweds First Home - Hallmark Homes Coomera QLD https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url=ht ... are_type=t Heya - yes I believe they are easy to install. Looks as though you just screw it all in. The handy-dandy man of mine will be doing that job though Re: Coral homes - Marcoola - Pimpama 44Oct 26, 2016 10:20 pm Sooooo!!! Build start date is officially locked in for the 14th November YAY!!! We have to meet with our SS soon though - any tips on what we should cover with him?? Also, I have been told that our contractual completion date is 23rd April. (160 days from start date as per contract agreement) HOWEVER trades go on break for 3-4 weeks over Christmas yes?? This doesn't match up with other. Hold time frames I've seen in here Re: Coral homes - Marcoola - Pimpama 45Oct 27, 2016 6:05 am Skyepie jmart90 Love your colour selections 😍 was the mirror splash back an upgrade? Hi! Thank you! How exciting! I thought they closed down for a good few weeks over Christmas too, but we were told that it's not really the case anymore, because they're not getting paid if they're not working, so quite often it's only a few days that they actually take off. The office would be different though I'd say Re: Coral homes - Marcoola - Pimpama 47Oct 27, 2016 8:11 pm I heard from my builder that it depends which trades you need and what supplies they need as sometimes it's more of an issue getting the products from the suppliers if they are closed during that time. Buuttt I was told probably maximum of 2 weeks as worst case scenario over Xmas! Fingers crossed that is the worst case scenario, I bet you're just as keen as I am to be moving into your nice new house lol Follow my build - Newlyweds First Home - Hallmark Homes Coomera QLD https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url=ht ... are_type=t Re: Coral homes - Marcoola - Pimpama 48Oct 27, 2016 9:56 pm goldcoasthome I heard from my builder that it depends which trades you need and what supplies they need as sometimes it's more of an issue getting the products from the suppliers if they are closed during that time. If you want (very minor changes) now is the time to do it. I was onsite for approximately 2 hours, but thats because I had heaps of questions. He'll also get you to sign some paperwork too. Everyone has said if we get a good SS we won't have too many issues. He really is a great ss. He was just at my place on friday fixing some cabinetry. His post handover service is really good. I ended up calling him first when i got my start date letter to ask about retaining walls lol. But he organised everything so well, that I had to ask him to slow it down when PCI was approaching since I was still in a rental, which he kindly obliged. But being in qld you wont have any problems. His communication wasnt the best at times, but i rather he concentrate on the trades and get it all happening. Try and get an independant inspector too if you can. I got one for all 6 stages, just for peace of mind pm me if you have any other questions Coral Homes Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens Gold Coast Viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81406 Re: Coral homes - Marcoola - Pimpama 58Oct 31, 2016 3:42 pm vonsta76 Skyepie vonsta76 Michael mcquoid? Re: Coral homes - Marcoola - Pimpama 59Oct 31, 2016 3:46 pm PCI is practical completion inspection. Its typically about 10 days to 2 weeks before handover, and you get a walkthrough with your ss to note anything that needs rectifying and make sure you're happy.
