It's been so long since pre-start I couldn't clearly visualise our choices and was worried our selections wouldn't work. Re: Our First Build - Calleya - HGWA 44Jul 12, 2015 11:23 pm mandy+steve Looking great congrats! Thanks! Re: Our First Build - Calleya - HGWA 46Jul 13, 2015 3:00 pm Its looking good! Congrats Our building journey: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=76935 Re: Our First Build - Calleya - HGWA 47Jul 13, 2015 3:07 pm elemist Wow - your flying along! Congrats on lockup.. hopefully my builder might find their tools at some point soon and start working! Thank elemist! We've been really lucky with our schedule. Everything had happened one after the other. I hope your new SS pulls his finger out , considering your slab was poured a couple days before ours! They say brickwork takes the longest (other than the lockup stage) so hopefully you will start to see some real movement now Re: Our First Build - Calleya - HGWA 48Jul 16, 2015 1:59 pm Hi Yours photos look great! The houses are popping up in Calleya so quickly! I'm building in Success and have my pre start in a couple of weeks and still trying to lock down colours, its so hard! What are the colours of the roof/fascia/gutters/renders? Thanks Re: Our First Build - Calleya - HGWA 49Jul 16, 2015 10:01 pm Wentworth26 Hi Yours photos look great! The houses are popping up in Calleya so quickly! I'm building in Success and have my pre start in a couple of weeks and still trying to lock down colours, its so hard! What are the colours of the roof/fascia/gutters/renders? Thanks Hi Wentworth, I hated picking colours! I had a really hard time visualizing anything Even when we were picking the laminates for the bathrooms, I ended up with the exact colours of the bathroom display in the showroom as I could see it right in front of me . Our roof and gutters are Colorbond Jasper and our fascia is Colorbond Dune. Our roller door will be Dune also. Our main render colour is Ghosting with the pillars in a contrast colour of Mud puddle. Im a little worried about the render because I think they might be too light. The under coat went on this week so we will see the colours soon. Re: Our First Build - Calleya - HGWA 50Jul 18, 2015 4:29 pm Oh wow your house is flying. Looks awesome! I think we have the same cabinet laminate in our ensuite as your bathroom. Love it. Cant wait to see tiles ☺ Re: Our First Build - Calleya - HGWA 51Jul 18, 2015 7:10 pm chadtyn Photos cont....... Exciting! Ooh loving your house pics! It's making great progress. Loving your front door choice! My front door just arrived yesterday so they'll be starting internals soon. Can't wait! I opted for a standard door however as I wanted to install a screen door after handover. Kind of wish I upgraded now having seen yours. Hehe Re: Our First Build - Calleya - HGWA 52Jul 18, 2015 8:18 pm marmot chadtyn That's so cheeky! I would never have imagined someone would so blatantly rip another person off! Just gobsmacked!! Happened all the time. The trade building the house next door all stole my water. his excuse was his hose does not reach the water meter on the other side of the house, so the stole my When dad built his house, the builder across road ran an extension cable from my dad power meter to thier house they working on lol. Nice internal door, Re: Our First Build - Calleya - HGWA 54Aug 17, 2015 9:16 pm kellie_87 Hey chadtyn how's it all going? Hi Kellie, Our build is plodding along nicely. Re: Our First Build - Calleya - HGWA 57Aug 21, 2015 9:36 pm Stopped by house today and the smoke alarm was going off! There were sparkies next door and they came over and took the breakers out of the power box but it kept going so they put them back. Very strange.
