Jealous of the grand alfresco to be honest!! How does it feel for size Our build - MainVue Amalfi 428 - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75482 Re: My Mainvue Amalfi 428 46Jun 28, 2015 10:12 pm The main bedroom and alfresco feel big. The spare rooms feel tiny but I know it looks small until the walls go up. Great to see it come together. All the aluminium windows are in. All happening so quick. Good luck for settlement. Re: My Mainvue Amalfi 428 47Jul 04, 2015 4:24 pm Things still moving very quickly. Most of the roof is on, timber windows and stacker doors in, side retaining wall done. Had Darbecca come through during the week, a few issues to be fixed but nothing massive. You're the same as me. I'm desperate to know when it will be done. The quicker I move in the quicker I stop paying rent. Also, will have holidays when I move so am hoping it doesn't slow down. You must be getting close to starting? Re: My Mainvue Amalfi 428 51Jul 04, 2015 7:09 pm mlp18 Ha! You're the same as me. I'm desperate to know when it will be done. Which should be achievable I am hoping! Not long for me. Permits through, handing over to construction this week hopefully therefore about 2-3 weeks of a start My Build Journey - Mainvue Amalfi 530 in South Eastern Melbourne https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75810&p=1353804&hilit=mainvue+amalfi#p1353804 Re: My Mainvue Amalfi 428 52Jul 05, 2015 7:35 pm Your roof looks great! What colour Colorbond have you chosen here? Our roof is up. We will post some pics after dinner. Your retaining walls look identical to ours. LOL! Grand alfresco is amazing isn't it. And yes, the master room feels massive too. We're also in the same boat. Can't wait for completion so we, too, can also stop paying bloody rent. When do you think you'll be complete? Building our MainVue Amalfi 530 - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75694 Re: My Mainvue Amalfi 428 53Jul 05, 2015 8:02 pm Was wondering how much did it cost you to get translucent doors to the whole house? And also do you remember how much it was to Increase ceiling heights to 2720mm? Re: My Mainvue Amalfi 428 54Jul 05, 2015 8:21 pm Hey Kirst, roof is Monument. Used the Truffle colour scheme (could never have put colours together that would work well). Not sure about finish timeline. Probably very similar to you, but my roof is not quite finished, needs the garage done. Think you're a week ahead, which is great cause I can see what happens next by reading your thread!! White fresh, I have 10 translucent doors which costs $5100 total (not cheap but definitely something that attracted me to the house in the first place and would have been the last thing to go if I had to cut costs!) To raise the ceilings from 2570mm to 2720mm was $4563. Obviously this is for the Amalfi 428. Probably more expensive for bigger Amalfi's. Did it appear lighter when you saw it on site compared to when you picked it at Cosham? We have Jasper for ours, and initially we thought they had put the wrong colour on - looked so much lighter than we expected at first. We're happy to blaze the pathway ahead for you. Although we may drop pace in our build. My Dad will be handed the site at some stage to install all of our extra cabling (Ethernet, speaker, Coaxial, Alarm, Cameras). Not sure what affect this will have on our build time frame. If it does slow us, we may need to look at your thread to see what's ahead.
