How's your build ? What have they been up too ? Re: Burbank - Custom Double Storey ~ Ground Floor FRAMES ARE 47Feb 08, 2014 8:30 pm trambay My framers have done all except windows. Did not see windows on site, so I guess there are still a few days before getting frame stage bill and Talking about bill .. Did they advise when they will invoice the frame bill ? Is it upon -completion of frame and roof truss or - frame , windows and gutter Trying to work out when I need to let my independent inspector know ? Re: Burbank - Custom Double Storey ~ Ground Floor FRAMES ARE 48Feb 08, 2014 11:46 pm I saw my neighbors' windows are on, so I guess windows are within frame stage, just guessing, gutters are part of next stage. Regarding to the inspector, i think you can let your administrator talk with your inspector about time directly, or when the administrator call u about the bill, u arrange inspection time? Both should work Re: Burbank - Custom Double Storey ~ Ground Floor FRAMES ARE 49Feb 11, 2014 11:36 am My Colour Selections

You'll find with Burbank that if you're looking at progress yourself you'll have a far better idea than the admin staff will have in their "update" calls. The SS only provides a project update each week to the office in their Wednesday construction team office meeting so they aren't really that on the ball. Let see what admin advise me on Wednesday Do you know what is part of the Frame Invoice? It is Frame, Roof Truss, window and Gutters? Not crazy we secured a rental property a couple of streets away from ours so when we moved out of the old house, demolished it and built the new, we could keep a close eye on it. Doing so and taking loads of photos proves extremely useful for many reasons - disputes (d0dgy demolition contractor), recording of issues for the builder to rectify, and knowing at the end of the job where all your studs/pipes/electrical wiring is located so when you want to mount things to the walls/ceiling etc you know where NOT to drill As for the framing payment, from memory, yes they sent the invoice once all framing, trusses, windows and guttering was completed.
