The house looks great too. Re: building a custom adenbrook on north coast 43Dec 30, 2012 3:06 pm thanks saint mike we are also having downlights in the portico and over the garage also in the family meals and alfresco areas Re: building a custom adenbrook on north coast 44Dec 30, 2012 4:17 pm Love all your lights, especially the ones for your retreat. I was eyeing off similar ones today at the shop but they wouldn't suit my house. I like the idea for the mural. Very unique. Is that a wallpaper you're getting? Re: building a custom adenbrook on north coast 46Dec 30, 2012 5:15 pm Think that will look great, great light selections also, funky light for the retreat. Re: building a custom adenbrook on north coast 48Dec 31, 2012 5:32 am Hey 1rocky. Ummm wow your block is amazing! 818sq aint easy to find in Sydney and your views are just to die for. I love your plans! There are some similarities to my place eg the kitchen, your alfresco is enormous! Out of curiosity what is a music room (sounds dumb I know ) I also love that you have a second Master with ensuite. Cannot wait to see the pics it looks like a really interesting build that will def take advantage of the views. no never any dumb questions i think if you do not ask you will never know especially as i am also asking questions the music room is for hubby to play guitar listen to his music etc it is sound proof as well and can easily be converted to a retreat . large blocks are also getting hard to find here so we were very lucky. now adays the average is around 500sqm and close to the beach around 300sqm. i love your house dsa39. our house we have now was built by masterton homes 26 years ago and has done us well. Re: building a custom adenbrook on north coast 52Dec 31, 2012 5:48 am our driveway was expensive especially with the triple garage Re: building a custom adenbrook on north coast 53Dec 31, 2012 6:00 am Re: building a custom adenbrook on north coast 54Dec 31, 2012 6:08 am also the website for adenbrook homes http://www.adenbrookhomes.com.au/ Re: building a custom adenbrook on north coast 55Dec 31, 2012 6:58 pm here is some more selections we have made for the house in the alfresco we will have a planterbox the bbq and the benchtop which has essastone galileo and merbau at the top it will look something like this Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ and the bbq Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ happy new year everyone and all the best in building your new homes in the new year Re: building a custom adenbrook on north coast 56Jan 01, 2013 10:24 am HomeAngels I really like your retaining wall. Are those blocks expensive? We are currently thinking of what to use for our retaining wall for our driveway ie blocks vs concrete sleepers. Hey HomeAngels. Our neighbour just got the same blocks of a shop on eBay in Newcastle. Even though he had to pay for freight to the Sutherland Shire the blocks were only approx $4 ea, we were quoted from boral between $8 - $12 each so worth shopping around. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=46741 Clovelly - Masterton Homes 5% to M 290312 CDC 21/06 20 days 29/08 Slab 17/09 Frame 26/09 Bricks 24/10 Roof tiles 20/11 Re: building a custom adenbrook on north coast 57Jan 01, 2013 10:32 am 1rocky thanks dsa39, andrew from adenbrook designed this house perfectly for us we did not think we would be able to get the high ceiling at the front and were excited then he achieved it, when they started building our SS said they were also going to drop the garage to give us a better driveway so now were have nearly 12 foot high ceilings in the garage and then a single step up to the entrance and then a few steps to the back of the house. no never any dumb questions i think if you do not ask you will never know especially as i am also asking questions the music room is for hubby to play guitar listen to his music etc it is sound proof as well and can easily be converted to a retreat . large blocks are also getting hard to find here so we were very lucky. now adays the average is around 500sqm and close to the beach around 300sqm. i love your house dsa39. our house we have now was built by masterton homes 26 years ago and has done us well. Sooo ive subsribed to your thread because I am loving all the ideas you are giving me for decorating. Thank you so much for the tip on decoblocks from amber tiles its exactly what we are looking for our side or front retaining wall. We have ended up with the same in the garage and its been dropped 10 brick courses so very similar. Music room what a cool idea! Wow I dont know that I could do 300sqm...then again for views? Thanks for the seal of approval we are hoping the build will be good quality so far so good. Please keep the pics coming its so great to see.
