Looking good!! Just love the nougat bricks, they have such a nice silvery tone to them. Our bricks are the boral mangrove and mist, which are coated also. I was so worried about the coating coming off and the red showing through, but they are just fine. Re: Tierra at Estuary - Frame is up & Bricks being laid! 47Mar 27, 2012 6:41 pm Thanks hemi426 ![]() We are really happy with the appearance of the bricks. We must have good brickies. I've seen some shockers over in the Providence Estate in Highton ![]() I like the Boral mangrove bricks too. Is mist a lighter contrast colour your using? Do you have a thread? Who are you building with? Good luck with your build! Re: Tierra at Estuary - Frame is up & Bricks being laid! 48Mar 28, 2012 7:37 pm Hi Dazandstace, I actually sent you a PM a while back. We are building with signature. Would love to start a thread, it's just a matter of getting it all started as we are towards the end of the build.........nearly. I only seem to have time for a little flutter on homeone these days. Timber is being lay'ed at the moment...which i am dying to see!, and cabinetry then going in. The whole building process has been fantastic so far, have had no issues. I had a look at the pics on your blog, looks like you have a decent size back yard. I am cringing at the size of mine......especially having a little munchkin running around. Hope it's all going well for you and will be having a peep at your progress each time i am out estuary. Re: Tierra at Estuary - Frame is up & Bricks being laid! 49Mar 28, 2012 7:54 pm Ahh YES! Sorry ![]() Our backyard won't be big either so don't worry. That's why the oval area will be so good. Exciting that the cabinetry is going in! Do you know when abouts it will be finished? Re: Tierra at Estuary - Roof is on!!! 51Apr 02, 2012 8:25 am looking fantastic! cant belive how quick everything is happening. ![]() Re: Tierra at Estuary - Roof is on!!! 52Apr 02, 2012 3:42 pm Hello there Dazandstace, I'm glad i had a little peek at your blog today. I also have a vintage style mirror which is HUGE!! 1.25x1.75. I love it so much, and was going to part with it simply because the gold patterned style frame would just look wrong in a modern house. How could i not think of giving it a good spray to change the look!! Now i just have to choose a colour. ![]() Where did you get your eiffel chairs from? Re: Tierra at Estuary - Roof is on!!! 53Apr 02, 2012 4:31 pm I'm really happy with how the mirror looks. Too good to get rid of as they cost a fortune. I figured either white, silver or black. Then when I did my Moodboards I realized black would look best for my room. It was cheap and easy to do. $8 for a undercoat spray and another $8 for the gloss black. Two hours later all done ![]() The eiffel chairs are actually my mums. I ordered them for her on the net. They worked out about $58 each delivered, which was a total bargin. It was on a website that has random deals depending on the day. You can get them online normally for about $65 each I think. They are on my wish list! I have to buy a few things. I dont have a dining table as I sold mine, etc, etc. I just ordered a couch on the weekend ![]() Re: Tierra at Estuary - Roof is on!!! 54Apr 04, 2012 5:36 pm Loved yr brick colour:-) so subtle yet so elegant.
