Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Carlisle Homes - Updated 24/10/2007 - A new beginning... 41Oct 22, 2007 11:36 am Spoke with my supervisor "D" just before 9:00am and he unfortunately (for me) had a handover.
He informed me that "R" was out at the house and was looking into it already. He had alredy seen the blog so he "knew what to look for and understood it better" Haven't heard anything yet but I guess I will get a phone call soon. Re: Carlisle Homes - Updated 24/10/2007 - A new beginning... 43Oct 22, 2007 4:29 pm I have "assumed" incorrectly yet again...
After repeated attempts to get through to "D" he finally rang me back at 2:30 to say I have spoken to "S" and "others" and they inform me that we have done nothing wrong. SERIOUSLY! I pointed out to him the conversation that was had with "S" the fact that I had laid out the tiles to show what the picture (that their employee did) was showing that I explained twice to "S" how important this was to my wife that this be 100% correct after the other recent events and that he assured me this was fine. They have done nothing wrong. I asked for a phone call back before the end of the day to close the issue off. Do you think I have one yet or will have one? hmmmm Re: Carlisle Homes - Updated 24/10/2007 - A new beginning... 44Oct 22, 2007 7:33 pm After a long conversation tonight with "D" I have agreed to wait until tomorrow morning for Carlisle Homes to come back to me with an answer in regards to the tiles.
It was a rather heated conversation to say the least but I am now patiently awaiting an answer in the morning. Tomorrow is a new day..... By off setting the tiles meant cutting only 1 tile……now do I need to say how LAZY THAT IS?????? Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Carlisle Homes - Updated 24/10/2007 - A new beginning... 57Oct 23, 2007 2:26 pm Michelle,
They still had to cut 2 tiles. It has been explained to me that they centred the line to the room as this is "what they always do." I pointed out again that this is not what I asked for. Re: Carlisle Homes - Updated 24/10/2007 - A new beginning... 58Oct 23, 2007 2:27 pm Thanks Eimaj,
Good thing I have more than luck though... If I was relying on luck then it wouldn't be worth my time.
