Funday.pdf Oh and also a phone call to say titles are delayed again ( surprised much ? ) due to the weather Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 42Sep 30, 2009 5:20 pm talking tp our builder on the weekend she told us that stage 14 has has the worse weather she has ever seen we are in stage 15 and must have the slab down by 27th march http://bekndarrenshouse.blogspot.com/ Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 43Sep 30, 2009 5:35 pm I'd hate to be the bearer of bad news but I dont like your chances, but hey you never know if they take their finger out you could be lucky they've been working on releasing ours since we brought last october lol. Although summer is around the corner they might get something done, not sure if they close down for like 2 months over christmas like builders do or not though? Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 44Oct 01, 2009 10:52 am Yeah its not good. We bought our land last Dec and still waiting for titles now. Been told yesterday there's been another delay, going to be end of next week now, but we got told a different story each week. GOOD LUCK !!! Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 46Oct 01, 2009 7:02 pm Hiya, it was due to be titled in june. We then got told it would be end of july, which changed to early aug. Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 47Oct 12, 2009 7:15 pm hi, just joined this group, though I was following all the posts as a guest. very informative thread. i am in stage 17, and hope that we will not be delayed as well. However i had to forgo the 32k in favor of the reduced grant because i thought the odds where too much against our favor. have the titles for stage 14 finally released? Titles havn't yet been released, the lots are finally all marked and pegged out though so soil testing has been done, and [***] is saying that the titles will be available 18th oct ( thats a sunday ? ) Been along time coming but hopefully now the fun stuff can begin ! Who are you building with ? Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 49Oct 13, 2009 9:16 am Hi, we are building with homes now who in turn use national builders. Yeah we've had our soil tests done just waiting on titles. I thought that too about a sunday so I'd say next week early next week hopefully. Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 50Oct 13, 2009 9:47 am i am building with burbank. They can do Sunday. If the titles are ready that is. especially with all the delays they wouldn't want to keep them any longer. She informed me to call a little closer to the date and keep calling for updates. At this stage they can't forsee any delays but i'm sure it will only be a matter of time! Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 52Oct 13, 2009 12:03 pm Hi Tracey. It looks like its finally coming along good out there dosnt it. We got told by our builder that once we have settlement the paperwork will take 6-8 weeks then the slab will go down, so thats not toooooo long i guess. JG KING say that there building time is 8mnths but there average at the moment is 5 and a half months - alot better than 8 !!! Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 53Oct 13, 2009 12:47 pm Yeah same here our builder said al least 6 weeks for their building permit and stuff. Homes Now have a build time of 4 months but we have to take into account that everything closes down for at least 6 weeks over chrissy so I'm hopping they at least get the slab laid I know the time off is a pain but if the slab goes down and then has to sit that 6 weeks it really is better for it than to build on it straight away. Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 54Oct 13, 2009 1:54 pm Yeah id love if our slab is down by xmas. I know our construction admin side of things want to be starting in 8 weeks but thats providing settlement happens on the 18th like its meant to, so who knows ! Cant wait to see all the houses start going up. Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 56Oct 13, 2009 4:56 pm ok we are stage 15. 2 weeks ago i email to ask fo an update a get told there will be info by end off that week i email today and she hopes to have something by end of this week is this how it works just push it week after week after week i just want info have they even started stage 15 http://bekndarrenshouse.blogspot.com/ Re: First Home Buyer - Wyndham Vale VIC ! 57Oct 13, 2009 8:05 pm don't you all worry, it will work out just fine. I cant see stage 15 being too far off. We live out in bluestone already (renting) and there are heaps of trucks out there daily working away, stage 14 is all pegged out and complete so yours shouldnt be too far away !!! hope it all goes well Not much in this responce. My suggestion is, what are you looking to build and why. This will all be impacted by the local councils planning scheme. Familiarise yourself… 6 6224 Soak wells and electrical run in happening this week! Summit has told me they will relocate the laundry plumbing after the walls are completed. I'm actually pretty happy… 13 36903 Cant give recommendations in general with that builder, but during the colour selection, this is honestly personal preference. Depends on the style you want. Do you want… 1 643 |
