I am building Atlantique Mk2 as well and had a query. I was just regarding your one of the other posts, and found out about shadow line and thicker laminate on sides of island bench. Is that standard on the kitchen in Atlantique? Ria Re: Carlisle Homes - Atlantique Mk2 47Jul 30, 2009 8:04 pm Hi Ria, I actually answered this question on Bec's thread! Basically, it probably is standard/no charge, but you will need to specify it. Otherwise, they will just put in the normal thin laminates for the sides. I have the stone waterfall side, so Im not so certain about it. But it wont hurt to call one of the sales people? Or even better, go have a browse through Spectra and ask a consultant there. Hope thats helps. Built the Atlantique 37 Mk2 with Carlisle Homes - WE'RE IN!! Currently we are having a very frustrating issue with the builder as the Kitchen Design delivered to us is not as what we were been promised by the sales consultant earlier. The kitchen which we had selected was as per their Cranbourne Display Center (i.e L Shaped Kitchen with Island Bench). But unlike to the Cranbourne Kitchen the following two items are missing from the Kitchen they have installed at Our Home : 1) Shadow Line under the Bench tops throughout the kitchen and 2) 32 mm Extended Drop Down Laminate Panels on Island Bench on sides to support the Bench tops. which we are not happy about as we were been informed by Sales consultant that they were standard. It would be of great help if someone building the same house can tell us whether the above two mentioned items were standard inclusions or not? Also, if some one has the Standard Drawings of the Cranbourne style kitchen which you might have got it from carlisle homes and if they could send it to me, that would be really helpful. I tried getting it from carlisle homes but the sales person is saying she doesnt have those drawings as they have modified the drawings and she only has the new one. Any assistance on this will be much appreciated. If some one doesn't feel like posting details here, they can pm me. Cheers Ria Re: Carlisle Homes - Atlantique Mk2 50Aug 06, 2009 11:25 am Hi Ria We are currently at contract stage with the Atlantique 32 and are also a bit confused about the kitchen options what with the thickness, edging, shadowline, overhang, drop down sides etc. I recently got our CLE to email me through the kitchen options and diagrams but it's still not totally clear. If you PM me your email address I will forward you the email and attachments. However I'm not sure how useful they will be for you as I believe Carlisle have recently standardised the kitchen layouts so you may have been promised an option which is now not availble. Cheers Hi Homey123, Thanks for your reply. Yes you are right, carlisle homes have standardised their drawings now. And that may be different to what we were been promised of. But its would be great of you if you can email me the drawings, i have sent an pm to you for my email address. If i was you, i would take everything in writting from them from what i have learned from them. Its costed us to trust them on their words on not getting in writting. Anyways, good luck with your contract sigining. Cheers.
