Can't get there until the weekend but would love to know its started G'day Jess & Mark, Drove past your house yesterday while checking my progress. Yours had timber trusses delivered. The first layer of trusses are being laid, looks like it just got started. When you get on site this weekend, perhaps a lot more are laid. Looking good, I must say. Cheers, AG Re: Aubin Gardens -Stage 9 & 10 - Come and meet your neighbo 371Nov 18, 2010 10:57 pm Hey AG, Thanks for the update thats great... glad they have started... the timber was delivered last week so were hoping a bit would get done this week... but atleast they have started Cheers, J&M Built with Scott Park Homes in Stage 10 Aubin Gardens Re: Aubin Gardens -Stage 9 & 10 - Come and meet your neighbo 372Nov 19, 2010 5:10 pm Awsome news guys, forgive me i keep forgetting to drive around and have a look for you! Re: Aubin Gardens -Stage 9 & 10 - Come and meet your neighbo 374Nov 23, 2010 7:58 pm After waiting an eternity to get back to Perth, I've got my final inspection tomorrow morning. 18 months in the making and it's so close I can smell it... Brooklet & Shonzilla, what's the go with getting the landscaping & fencing sorted with Terranovis? Did you have to give a fair amount of notice, or were they able to come by within a few weeks and get it up and running? Re: Aubin Gardens -Stage 9 & 10 - Come and meet your neighbo 375Nov 24, 2010 10:53 am There would have been a letter from terranovis that needed to be signed for landscaping ''landscaping voucher'' if you cant find it give Di a call at Terranovis, she can send you another, the back log is roughly 4 weeks but with all the new houses up at the moment, the earlier the better Bet you cant wait till your in!!! Hope inspection went well? Brooklet & Shonzilla, what's the go with getting the landscaping & fencing sorted with Terranovis? Did you have to give a fair amount of notice, or were they able to come by within a few weeks and get it up and running? Hey Moira, refer to what Shon said about the fencing and landscaping voucher the fences went up within about a week or two i think (tell them that you've already got keys and you're moving in and they move a bit faster according to the SS), and the landscaper contacts ya pretty promptly but there's about a 4 week wait once you've settled on your final design. Also, if you don't want the limestone cores that are drilled out for the fence posts, we're happy to take em away for ya! :p we use em as "garden" (aka sandpit" edging Re: Aubin Gardens -Stage 9 & 10 - Come and meet your neighbo 378Nov 24, 2010 12:54 pm Hey Luke. we are getting our walls painted by the builder, think it was about $4000 for sealer and two coats. Very expensive but we needed it done for our loan, they need the house to be fully finished and ready to evaluate within a week after Handover... also knew it would be very hard to find the time to do it ourselves... I know you can get it done a lot cheaper outside the builder hope this helps Built with Scott Park Homes in Stage 10 Aubin Gardens Re: Aubin Gardens -Stage 9 & 10 - Come and meet your neighbo 379Nov 24, 2010 1:36 pm I was going to do that with my limestone things... but i forgot by the time they were gone Garden - viewtopic.php?f=19&t=44214&p=670323#p670323 Decorating - viewtopic.php?f=6&t=47218&p=715743#p715743 The only thing to add to these comments is that where possible it's always good to try and work with people than just say "no" because you can.
