Wow that dog is lucky. tiger snake venom works straight away. We caught a dugite "mimicking" a coil of polypipe in the backyard yesterday, a big one. Relocated it about 4kms away. And I'm loving the shadows your bling kitchen light is throwing. I've tried photographing similar lights in the shops and can appreciate how hard it is to convey their blinginess! If yes, just be aware that your snakes may be fond of the warmth and hideaway it provides. I had a pair living under the decking at my last house!
