Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Our Places Fairhaven 23+ in Sandarra - Trussed 341Aug 12, 2010 12:56 pm No movement again at the station this morning, though we did get some more pallets of roof tiles yesterday and cappings. So all the materials are ready to go, just no one to do anything with them? In other news got our taps moving ahead at least, finally got onto our admin this morning, after SE waters apparent 'assets are not yet released' claim and after he recieved the photos I took of the other working taps installed in our street they've finally worked out that hey they have been released. So we also had the discussion over placement and we've requested they be installed the max distance away from the side where our driveway will be, so apprarently we can get another 600mm from the assigned location without needing to pay extra so yeah that was a definate good news moment. Only problem might be that the portaloo and rubbish cage are sitting in that general vicinity, would tell our SS about it, but he still hasnt made contact. With all of these deliveries you'll have your roof on and be wrapped in no time ready for your bricks. Thought that silvery/brown blur was you just as I was driving up to our street this morning. So on with the pics.... Hmm whats that on my roof, tradies must have been up pretty darn early as well as those battens were still stacked on the ground as of last night. Anything over 1-1.5m is uncomfortable up to about 5 storeys, figure there isn't much point worry about it after that as your not exactly going to be around to worry about the fall after the fact. So based on them having that much done already hopefully we'll have a full roof by tonight Our Build - Places Fairhaven 23+ - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=28045 Our Landscaping - Belial's Backyard - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=45375 Re: Our Places Fairhaven 23+ in Sandarra - Guttered 347Aug 13, 2010 12:40 pm silvery brown....hahaha.... that 'bout describes our car at the moment, a complete and utter MESS. Hehe, between driving round the estate and up to my fiancee's parents place (They live a few k's up a dirt road) I just don't see the point in washing it at the moment. So i'm kinda coming to grips with having a grey/fawn coloured car instead of white. Few items in the frame to go over and some plumbing and we got the frame invoice today so will probably wait to see how the meeting goes first. The independent inspection found several errors in the frame requiring correction before it will pass, but nothing hugely important seeing as they still put the roof on today.
