How much of the bathroom is waterproofed? I have some waterproofing around the corners and joins in the bathroom but I thought that they did the whole of the shower cavity. Is this waht they do? How much wp did people actually get done? In my case they did the whole floor and shower cavity look into the picture Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 3042Mar 07, 2013 6:41 pm Thanks sohnaeo. That's what I thought they did. I guess they just haven't finished yet. Maybe tomorrow. Re: Who else is building with Eden Brae? 3044Mar 07, 2013 7:30 pm Evening fellow builders, Did anyone experience difficulties getting their loan approved for land? Initially we had someone go out an inspect the land, they said it was a possible bush fire prone area - dismissed. The bank agreed on the value of the land. Now they are uncertain given the 'new development'. However, there have been several stage releases and have now an established estate (at Pitt Town). It has been explained that the bank doesn't want to invest too much in one area if it happens to go belly up or investing too many eggs in one basket. I provided real estate website examples of current houses for sale. We were assured by our broker that we had met the loan criteria and now it seems each day we have to provide more and more documentation i.e. my super; a letter from the accountant to say a business my husband once owned no longer is in operation or has any liabilities. We have a substantial deposit, it seems there are so many hurdles before we begin the building process. Like you we have a good deposit and I think the price we are paying for the land is reasonable. Your banks's response is a bit of a concern. They are asking good prices for the established homes in the Bona Vista stage of the estate. I hope we don't have any similar hassles. Has Janet told you when your block is likely to be registered? I will have to wait until work is less busy to get my walk through. He took pics which helps. But I am very jealous he got to see so much inside, my view at the moment is limited to the whats visible through the fence. We have been given a rough date of 29th April Pci, and 14th may settlement. Ss confirmed again yesterday, that those dates are still on schedule. We have extensively inspected the brick and mortor, lot of mortor/chip issues. Alfresco bricks are terrible, way too many small chips more I look more I feel bad. I hope PGH and EB would address this.Alfresco stacker door frame bit damaged which doesn't look nice not sure how they can fix it ?
