I also didn't like the bowl shape on the inside. Loving the thought that went into your shower niche placement. I just stood in the shower and said 'about here' to the builder. Didn't occur to me to consider tile size or anything like that. Worried mine will look rubbish now /quote] Greenfish I can't imagine anything your house looking like rubbish, it will be beautiful. The only reason the thought went into the niches as there wasn't any measurements on our plans and when they went in they were way to high, so we dropped them 30cm, I love the niches that run the full length of the wall but was worried they would be to long, When we originally did our tile selection Beaumont charged us over $500 for the tiles for the niches, they made us buy extra sheets of mosaics for wastage, i argued the point saying there is no way we would need it when two sheets would fit perfectly, however when zen changed suppliers, the tilers laughed and said no two sheets was fine, get this I bought them myself from Beaumont and paid $170 in comparison to the original quote of $500 money sucking company Gogo's build- bath is in...sort of! 3011Jul 07, 2012 8:22 am gogo65 When we originally did our tile selection Beaumont charged us over $500 for the tiles for the niches, they made us buy extra sheets of mosaics for wastage, i argued the point saying there is no way we would need it when two sheets would fit perfectly, however when zen changed suppliers, the tilers laughed and said no two sheets was fine, get this I bought them myself from Beaumont and paid $170 in comparison to the original quote of $500 money sucking company Lucky you could buy the tiles yourself, not an option for us building with project builders. Thanks onewheel, definetely good to be able to supply the mosaics, to be honest I think it was easier for us to supply than them trying to source them for us nina marie Lots more propgress pics please this week GoGo - fingers crossed! I hope so Nina, but not sure what is happening this week, well the builder told me it would be finished this week, so you may log in and it will be all done or not... greenfish Oh the balustrading is looking mighty fine...love waterfall spouts, your bathroom is like my dream bathroom - providing you can reach the ledge easily in order to balance a snack and glass of wine Still waiting for a price on the spout, the good thing is if they are to expensive then DH can install a nicer one later on. As for the ledge, the shower screen will be at the back of the ledge so plenty of room for my wine Re: Gogo's build- bath is in...sort of! 3015Jul 07, 2012 5:17 pm So my third pendant of my light was installed today by trusty DH, the electrician had done the wiring stuff so he just had to screw it on.
