Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building At Edmondson Park 2881Apr 05, 2016 8:56 am I tried walking from buchan av upto the bushes/densed trees . I entered from the open fence door. There is a unconstructed path that cross the pond. I crossed the dirt piled up hill where future public school will be. Will try walking further next time ☺ Building At Edmondson Park 2883Apr 06, 2016 11:45 pm You'll have to request it from council and it will most likely be rejected...or someone might accidentally run it over trying to park and then it won't be there anymore and council will plant another one at a later date..if you catch my drift :p Re: Building At Edmondson Park 2885Apr 07, 2016 9:59 am aHomeHunt Anyone tried moving street tree. It seems hindering our driveway? Is it too costly? We did it on our own. But it's not a trivial task and believe me it's hard, because the soil is pretty tough clay. But the most difficult part is to deal with 2 supporting timber poles. Because clever council cemented them underground. If you have all required equipment (shovel, saw, digging bar is the must) do it yourself, it's a great physical exercise and rehearsal for future gardening , otherwise it would be better to hire someone. When we did this there were some builders around doing their stuff in other lots, so it shouldn't be a problem to find some help for small money. Re: Building At Edmondson Park 2886Apr 07, 2016 11:07 am Regarding stage 2, release 5 (derna st, tobruk, wootan ave), its been almost three weeks since we got the letter. Has anyone's solicitor contacted by landcom for settlement ? ken1969 , have u confirm with your solicitor? Cheers Re: Building At Edmondson Park 2887Apr 07, 2016 11:13 am This is what I heard from my solicitor "Landcom are providing notification of registration for this subdivision over the next few days. Once your office receives notification, you will be able to book in settlement at a convenient date and time for your client, in accordance with the information provided in the notification." Re: Building At Edmondson Park 2888Apr 07, 2016 1:15 pm Thanks sprint1 I did hear same from someone but when i checked with solicitor, he said, nothing for settlement yet. But ken1969 said previously that they have been ask for settlement in same release. Re: Building At Edmondson Park 2889Apr 07, 2016 3:06 pm Hi everyone, since the land has now been settled and things started to move forward, i created this blog to document my experience during the whole building time and my experiences with the builder i chose to build my home: Everyday Homes. i hope it benefits anyone who maybe interested. http://ibuildmyhome.weebly.com/blog Anyone else is building with them?? Re: Building At Edmondson Park 2890Apr 07, 2016 4:50 pm Anyone waiting for ridge edmondson park land registration? http://www.theridgeedmondsonpark.com.au ... e_plan.pdf Re: Building At Edmondson Park 2891Apr 07, 2016 4:54 pm Regarding Stage 2 release 5 - our solicitor booked settlement with our bank on 6/04/16, but due some stuff up at the bank, we are now settling on 11/04/16. Apparently updated paperwork is required as the original credit contract were for unregistered land, and now that it is registered, it needs a new credit contract! Re: Building At Edmondson Park 2892Apr 07, 2016 5:14 pm Amiarm - I'm waiting on settlement for a lot in The Ridge. I received an update earlier this week. I presume you're waiting for registration as well? Have you received any information recently? Re: Building At Edmondson Park 2894Apr 07, 2016 6:09 pm Cat_EP We did it on our own. Doesn't look too difficult. I saw one of the timber pole down near my construction site and it has concrete at outer side only. If it would be same in front of my home. Making my life easier by digging soil side. Re: Building At Edmondson Park 2895Apr 08, 2016 11:24 am Stage 2 Release 5- I have got a letter from landcom today with last date of registration set for 29 April Re: Building At Edmondson Park 2899Apr 15, 2016 3:45 pm The fun continues. Our build MJHer just informed us we need a rain water tank! I thought EP uses recycled water? We are in Stage 4 release 3, our street connects up to Gallipoli Drive. Our McDonald Jones Cordova Two Build - http://cordovatwomjh.blogspot.com.au Hello I have a question, when you upgrade an existing lights ( from metal halide to LED) on existing lighting poles in a recreational park.
