The rainwater tank pump installed. I hope there will be some cover over it. Love the carpet Vatche! So effective. We have had out staircase stained and lacquered to match our front door.... Will post photos when I get some! Looking awesome Riccaaaa! I can't believe how smoothly your build seems to be moving along! There are things you don't realise until the build is underway and you actually see it in construction how they will look. I think shelves or a storage cupboard above would be a great way to go.... After our gyprocking and cornices they put in the skirtings (which then got removed later to do the flooring and then redone) and then the painting got underway. It needs to match the contrast you are trying to achieve. Dark carpet is not always good, but as long as it matches the rest of the house. abiggerhouse Love the carpet Vatche! So effective. I'm a big fan of the stained and lacquered stairs, my 4 legged friends not so much hence we decided on carpet, so look forward to see your stairs, along with the rest of the house, fingers crossed you get your keys early on in the week!! Ricaaaa - looks like you have well and truly taken over us. We were meant to have the roof tilers in on Thurs and Fri but alas once again I am frustrated. Went past Thurs to find no-one there and after a phone call to SS and his subsequent phone call back was told they would be there in a couple of hours (lunctime). Did they - NO. Then went past Friday to find one person working (meant to be a team) and only had garage roof covered with timber three hours later. Once again phone call to SS (who I must say wasnt happy that a team werent there as promised) who said he would get straight onto it. Three hours later I find six men working and nearly all of roof covered in timber. Was told they would be working Sat also as they have another job this week but went past Sat to find no work being done at all. Tell you what - I wont be allowing them to go to another job before they finished mine - I have already been delayed long enough. Eaves and wiring was meant to be done this coming week so we could go into lockup in a couple of weeks - well lets see!!!! Unfortunately this is the stuff that can happen. One of our frustrations was that you were never given a timetable for which trades were booked in when. Good that your SS was responsive to your call and got the roofers there to get focussed on the job. Hopefully they will get it completed today. Eight guys working extremely hard today. Mum asked if she can move in now (think she is getting quite claustrophobic with us)!!!! Vatche - I know what you mean but at least I can say it wasnt my SS but the tradies. abiggerhouse - our SS is really good - he updated me last week and again today about what is happening in the next week or two and when lock up is expected - this without me having to ask.
