Re: Who else is building at Oran Park? 2722Oct 01, 2014 8:52 pm Yeah they just scraped it, there was no dirt to be removed they just left a pile of the top layer of grass at the rear of the block. I just checked out the block on the way back from the new gym (btw they were doing a group fitness class tonight). The water pods and waffle pods are all in and there is reo over the top of it all but it was dark so couldn't see exactly what has been done. I'm told that the slab will be poured on Friday ![]() I did see that your colorbond roof is on which is looking good! You'll be at lock up in no time. Re: Who else is building at Oran Park? 2723Oct 02, 2014 10:30 am Hi all, I asked OPT for an update on the pdf that estimated 4A/4B registration dates - here's the reply: 'It will be updated this week. While October is possible, November is most likely for registration now.' Re: Who else is building at Oran Park? 2724Oct 02, 2014 10:43 am Lol, "October is still possible". Unless someone is slipping the Council a brown paper bag under the table, it'll definitely be November. $395 Fixed Priced Landscape Plans for DA M: 0435 127 244 | W: bluegumdesign.com.au | E: info@bluegumdesign.com.au Residential | Commercial | Industrial Re: Who else is building at Oran Park? 2726Oct 02, 2014 11:39 am With all due respect to everyone from 4A - 4B, as long as OPT have not submitted to council, I wouldn't rely on any dates to be honest. This is my own opinion. After OPT submit to council (which they presently haven't) it would take a minimum of 4 weeks if council do not require further paperwork from OPT, which would delay the approval. Once council approves, you'll need to add another 2 weeks for land titles. Don't forget, all this process is out of OPT's hands. From what I believe, if and I repeat IF OPT to submit next week, then add another 4 weeks; we will reach the end of October. If there are no further delays in council, add another 2 weeks with land titles, that gets us to mid November. So I believe we should register mid to end of November and settle early December. Note again: if OPT submit next week, and no delays during council process. I hope I'm wrong. BB I'm sorry to tell you but you owe me a carton of Beer. Make sure it's Corona! Been reading all your post for a while and thought it was time to join. Quick question. Has anyone else hit rock in Oran Park? Or am I the unlucky one? I'm building in stage 5C. You're not alone champ. We hit weathered rock at 400mm and at 600mm at test site 2. So costing us $5,000 for rock removal (PA). I am worried it might end up being more. We also hit "UTP rock" at 800mm. What happened with you Coz? $395 Fixed Priced Landscape Plans for DA M: 0435 127 244 | W: bluegumdesign.com.au | E: info@bluegumdesign.com.au Residential | Commercial | Industrial Re: Who else is building at Oran Park? 2734Oct 03, 2014 9:04 pm ![]() ![]() Hi All! Re: Who else is building at Oran Park? 2739Oct 07, 2014 6:31 am So my parents asked me yesterday how registration is going with our block. I told him we are still waiting!! He looked at me and said " registration( shaking his head) when I bought my block ( in cecil hills) 15 years ago we walked in put our deposit down and bang couple weeks later we were building" lol imagine this was the case now lol. And then he pulls out his briefcase showing me his site costs and piering, and heaps of rock removal. Lol $1700. And his house cost was $148k for three story and land cost was $95k for 1000sq m Re: Who else is building at Oran Park? 2740Oct 07, 2014 9:07 am New land release. Stage 30b. Wow the prices are skyrocketing:) good news for anyone that's already purchased and not so good news for whoever is lookin at buying. Considering we purchased our 600 sq block last year at the same price they're selling 380sq. A survey must’ve completed by a certified surveyor.
