Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building in EVE Estate 261Aug 25, 2010 11:36 am Hear that gemmalilly - we just had our building permit come through. In the time its taken to lodger and return 4 houses are at frame stage around us! Re: Building in EVE Estate 262Aug 25, 2010 2:38 pm Our site manager rang today he said the bricks will be finished next week and they are going to start on the painting inside on Thursday and after the bricks are finished they will start cleaning up the outside, I hope this means the drive way will be done soon, we were looking at moving in in Jan / Feb it may be sooner, see what happens, will go our next week for a look. Hey JavJad have you met your site manager yet ? Re: Building in EVE Estate 263Aug 25, 2010 4:23 pm Hi all! Nice to see all the houses coming up... been visting each weekend and realised that few years from now, we'd never get to see the estate like that ever again, seeing through most houses Has anyone of you submitted the detailed landscape plans? Did anyone DIY or got a professional landscape designer to do it? I've been reading the Casey council's landscape policy and not sure whether they expect a professional to design it? http://www.casey.vic.gov.au/policiesstr ... Item=16856 My house is in frame stage now and I guess I should get a few more months to do the landscape planning anyways. Just stuck to the requirements in the contract of land sale. Just stuck to the requirements in the contract of land sale. Thanks Even Dweller, I will try that too. Not expecting a very complicated design anyway... assuming you're not a landscape design pro yourself BTW, did you include the design for both front and backyards or just the front yard? From what I remember, contract requirements are only about the front. From what I remember, contract requirements are only about the front. I have no landscaping experience whatsoever. I just followed the guidelines in the contract document and shaded areas appropriately. I did front and back yards. You also need to draw in the driveway and list what material and colour. Re: Building in EVE Estate 270Aug 26, 2010 4:49 pm nzkiwi01 Hi Eve Dweller, where are you building? On Abrus Circuit - houses have just been popping up overnight! Hopefully starting in the next 2 weeks. Its been 12 month journey. Re: Building in EVE Estate 271Aug 26, 2010 8:53 pm we haven't had to do a landscape plan? we've been in for just over a month now and no one has asked for one. we've had our driveway done and haven't really decided what we're doing with the rest yet. Then again we have being in for 12 months and are yet to make a start on the front yard(hopefully soon as the rain stops now)... so its not like they follow up if you have put in what you said you would. guess it may have being different if the blocks in the estate didnt sell Cheers Cozmo ______________________________ Building a PD Heywood 29 http://fromevetoeternity.blogspot.com/ Re: Building in EVE Estate 274Aug 27, 2010 8:35 pm Hey Kiwi Arent we lucky humpys took photos of our bricks.
