Colours have been chosen. Went back and changed a couple of things.
But we are still waiting on this damn bank for build approval. If not, we will be selling our current home.

It took us 10 weeks to get our building contract so we could get formal approval from the bank! Re: Redink 244Jan 25, 2016 7:01 pm pidge.72 Just FABULOUS!!! Thank you pudge.72 Congratulations on your slab. It's a good feeling when things start happening. Did you decide your door or a slider? I'm glad Redink waived the fee for you, we have found them so good and helpful. Re: Redink 245Jan 25, 2016 7:10 pm Thanks.... I'm very excited...... I don't know what i'll do with all my spare time once I move in as I live, eat and breathe building at the moment I decided on a slider which I will install after handover, they are installing the frame for me at $90 to be able to do this at a later stage. So far no complaints about Redink at all... they have been so accomodating with all my decisions Re: Redink 246Jan 25, 2016 7:20 pm That's really great to hear. We had a bit of miscommunication last week over the colour of our white Kote that was installed to the sliders. We wanted the pure white ones but they installed the greeny white ( as the adenda said also) They realised it was miscommunication and said they will swap them out for the colour we wanted. To us that is a bloody good company wanting to do the right thing by their customers. Re: Redink 247Jan 25, 2016 8:02 pm Its good to know that they are flexible and understand that not everyone is an experienced builder and understands how to read all the fine print. ... Glad you got the correct colour in the end... that would have bugged me 😊 Re: Redink 248Jan 25, 2016 9:19 pm Yeah it really bugged me as we are having beige carpet, white glass light shades and white glass light and power switches so the greeny White would of really clashed!! Re: Redink 251Jan 26, 2016 1:14 am Gilbert106 Yeah it really bugged me as we are having beige carpet, white glass light shades and white glass light and power switches so the greeny White would of really clashed!! Yeah, that would have stood out alot and bothered you every time you looked at it. .... i'm really glad you noticed it in time Re: Redink 252Jan 26, 2016 1:15 am Gilbert106 Yeah it really bugged me as we are having beige carpet, white glass light shades and white glass light and power switches so the greeny White would of really clashed!! You house looks beautiful with that render and the dark roof! I love the kitchen window opening out to alfresco, it will be great for entertaining! Love your plan too, very nice design. Can't wait for more news on your build Our Redink build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81681 Re: Redink 256Jan 26, 2016 10:56 pm oh, I recall you mentioned your sales William Scates was great, totally agree! He's our sales too and he's been very responsive and helpful to us. That makes a good start to our building journey doesn't it? Thank you for your compliments, we are very happy with our home and can't wait to move in. Will was amazing and helped us so much getting the home we wanted. I heard he is no longer working for RI, which is a huge loss for the company I reckon. What plan are you building? Re: Redink 258Jan 27, 2016 12:00 am my husband sketched what he had in mind, then William helped to draft it out so it's not based on any RI plan. What a pity he's left RI if that's true. He came across a lovely and professional guy I reckon. Our Redink build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81681 |
